Mirror ball, schmirror ball. Two former participants of Dancing with the Stars have had much better things to celebrate in the past few weeks.
In an upcoming issue of Essence magazine, Laila Ali reveals that she will soon have an entirely new role to master. The professional boxer - and Season Four competitor - is now becoming a mom.
Laila, 30, married former NFL player Curtis Conway last July, just a few months after her dancing run ended. Although this will be the couple’s first child together, Conway, 37, already has two sons and a daughter.
Pregnant or not, Ali is still expected to return as co-host of American Gladiators this summer.
Read More Earlier this week, the country artist confirmed she will soon be heading down the aisle again. Sara, 37, is scheduled to marry Jay Barker - a former University of Alabama quarterback - later this year. The two started dating last fall when they were introduced by mutual friends. Sara’s earlier marriage officially came to an end in September, almost twelve months after she had to drop out of DWTS to take care of her family issues. Last year was also a trying year for her fiance. Barker, a father of four, finalized a divorce of his own during the summer. No date has been announced for the happy couple’s nuptials.

Surprisingly, it’s already been three seasons since Sara Evans took the DWTS dance floor with Tony Dovolani. It seems like only yesterday the singer was sitting down with Tom Bergeron and talking about her troubled marriage. Now the mother of three is finally putting all that behind her and moving on with her life.
