Engagement’s Over for Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ross McCall
Attention all you single men: Jennifer Love Hewitt is now back on the market.
Just over a year after becoming engaged, Hewitt, 29, and fiance Ross McCall (Band of Brothers) have called it quits. The couple had been dating for approximately two years prior to the November 2007 proposal.
According to People, the shocking decision was made during the recent holiday season. “They’re both really sad about this. Even their friends are surprised; they seemed really happy. Everyone just wants the best for both of them,” claims a source.
In Spring 2007, Hewitt told the magazine that her relationship with McCall didn’t require much effort. “It’s the first time I’ve ever been in a relationship where you don’t have to try. And I think that’s the answer. That’s when you know that you’re in something really good and healthy and right.”
Before meeting Ross, Jennifer had also been linked to both John Mayer and Carson Daly.
