With the news of his relationship with Camilla Belle now out, Joe Jonas has been forced to go on the defense.

In a recent post on the Jonas Brothers’ MySpace page, the 19-year-old tries to address many of the questions currently being posed. While he doesn’t deny leaving Taylor Swift for another girl (he actually doesn’t even mention the country singer by name), he does deny ever cheating on her. Jonas also claims the infamous “27-second” phone call wasn’t his fault. (Apparently he thought Swift would had something more to say after hearing “I’m interested in someone else.”)

To Our Fans from Joe:

This blog is not an attack of anyone. Anytime you are in a relationship for any length of time there are going to be issues. Sometimes they resolve. Other times they lead to a change of heart. This was the case recently.

Several things I will state with all my heart…

I never cheated on a girlfriend. It might make someone feel better to assume or imply I have been unfaithful but it is simply not true. Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on. Perhaps feelings changed. I am truly saddened that anything would potentially cause you to think less of me.

For those who have expressed concern over the “27 second” phone call. I called to discuss feelings with the other person. Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk. A phone call can be pretty short when someone else ends the call. The only difference in this conversation was that I shared something the other person did not want to hear.

There were later attempts at communication that had no response.

I wish the best for the other person but could not sit back any longer and leave our fans with a wrong impression of the truth.

i heart jonas and i am 11 years old i love all then and if someone likes a different person and that other person gets mad like ” i am mad because he does not like me” so wat you cant make a person like you its thier choice if they want to like you. you dont go to them and be like you have to like me or else i will kill you that person make like you but not really like you they will just pretend anyway love is hard to find and to deal with is taylor is sad than joe must be sad too> its not joe’s fault not all of it i have been hearing rumors in my skool that joe has a cold heart i dont think that because what the jonas brothers did is make the world a better place next thing you know a alein will come amd say oh i heard that earth is a good place and they come. jonas brothers have given good not good great super giant examples for us humans fans childeren and others things on this planet.
