Share

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Television, Clothing, Red Carpet, Photos

Do you find black to be a bit too boring? Is yellow a difficult color for you to wear? Well, then try purple.

These ladies at yesterday’s Emmys prove that all it takes is the right shade.

I would like to know who made Holly Hunter’s purple dress she wore to the emmys.  My daughter is getting married in Oct. 09—and I have been looking for a dress. I love that dress except I’d like it knee length. I would not be able to afford anything like that. For almost 15 years I used drugs and that took me to the bottom….which lead me into loosing the respect of my children—but since Feb. 08 I’ve been clean, I now live and work for a recovery half-way house and attend college so that leave me with very little income. At 46 years old I’m starting my life over.I now have a great relationship with my children but wish I could do more. I’m not even able to help money wise with the wedding, she and her fiancee are working two jobs each-(him 3 jobs). She keeps telling me she wants to heip with me getting a dress and I keep telling her I will do it myself—-and I will. I can sew but not “that” good. I’ve just been looking on the web for ideas. And I’ve heard about designer selling dress pretty reasonable, some of the dresses have been worn. Anyway if you or anyone else out there know anything that would help in my search please let me know. I’m just learning about the internet also—I have only had access to it for two months—yes I am a small town girl with not the knowleadge of the new world out there waiting on me. I want to relieve her of worring about me any more. Thats the reason I took this job not only for my sobriety and spirituality -but to save money for her wedding and for my dress. Enough of me—- please let me know of the designer, just to get ideas or heck maybe they have a dress they are ready to through-out at a price I can afford. LOL My dream would be that dress and I’d cut it off and do the rest. A girl can dream—-right—? I use to dream of being sober and to have a relationship with my higher power so yes dreams do come true. Thanks for reading and have a bless day.  Me
