Barack Obama Does More Than Talk Change

Barack Obama

Change! It’s been his promise and his slogan for many moons now, and isn’t going to let his message get too stale. Having trouble following the presidential contender’s policy plans? Not seeing any helpful debates on television that might allow you make up your mind about where to cast your vote?

Just get the book. Starting September 9, you too can purchase Change We Can Believe In: Barack Obama’s Plan to Renew America’s Promise, which will hit the bookshelves on that date. The price is $13.95 USD, the proceeds of which will be donated to an as-yet-unnamed charity. You can also purchase an e-version of this book starting September 8 for the same price.

The book’s Foreword was penned by Barack Obama himself, with other sections written by members of Obama for America (his campaign). Health care, national security and energy will be the focus, though it also contains snippets of transcripts from some of his speeches.

Apparently Obama isn’t just going to talk about change - he’s going to write about it too. This leads me to one of my favorite all-time rants: public figures who climb all over my job. It is not enough that celebrities, politicians, anchors and other public personas dominate the headlines, the television screens and sometimes even the box office - they want my career, too. For those of us who do nothing but write (as opposed to starring in a reality show or running for office, and then trying to write about it later on), it’s something of a slap in the face.

And it’s pretty clever politics, to boot. How will the camp react? Stay tuned for more slanderous political ads that attempt to undermine Obama’s credibility. One man’s message is another man’s fodder.

To date, Obama has published two books (Change will be the third) and has a deal to pen at least two more with Crown Publishing.

Well, it seems like it has definitely divided the Democratic party, which is good or bad depending what side of the political aisle you are on… but yes this nomination has gone on way too long, and while it was exciting for politics in general, it is time to move onto the general election.  Clinton needs to drop out immediately and back Obama if the Democrats want to win in the fall (which they should because of the toxic environment for Republicans these days…)

Well i am sure Hillary will go an support Obama against the Republicans.

They need unity now since it is a very very important election.

This is good for America and for the world, we need a change and maybe this election is the change.

We all know Obama will not be the best, but he will be a starting point for the future!
