Finally, Gosselin Divorce Final

TMZ is reporting that Jon and Kate have finally severed the ties that bound them. Despite previously conflicting reports from the lawyers involved, it seems the divorce is finally final.

According to Kate’s legal counsel, she will “continue to reside with all eight of her children in the former marital home.”

“I am very relieved that our divorce has been finalized, and I look forward to the New Year, focusing on our children,” said Kate Gosselin.

Jon’s representative had this to say: “Jon and Kate will remain binded in their commitment to their eight wonderful children. Jon is confident that he and Kate will be able to move forward in a fashion that will be in the best interest of the Gosselin family.”

Enough with the platitudes - how did it all shake out? Kate gets to keep the house - what about Jon Gosselin? But so far, no one’s spilling. Kate’s lawyer Mark Momjian said only, “we are very pleased with the final outcome.”
