Jackson Custody Hearing Will See Another Day in Court

Paris Michael and Prince Michael Jackson

The custody hearing for ’s three children has been pushed back again. The event has now been moved to July 20 so that biological mom Debbie Rowe and grandmother Katherine Jackson can continue to battle…sorry, talk it out. In the meantime, Jackson will continue to serve as the guardian for all three children per her son Michael’s last will and testament.

In a statement from Mrs. Jackson, attorney L. Londell Mitchell said he hopes both parties may “privately and amicably resolve this most important matter in a dignified manner, for the benefit of the children.”

Michael Jackson, who had full custody of all three of his children, very clearly named mom Katherine as the guardian of his kids in the event of his untimely death. So…why are we still debating? You see, is biologically the mother of the pop king’s two oldest - Paris-Michael and Prince Michael - and therefore has the legal right to make an issue out of it. DNA runs pretty deep, after all. This does not necessarily mean, however, that Rowe will in fact be awarded custody of the Jackson tots. It just means she has the right to go to court over the matter.

When she first stepped forward to make her claims, Rowe stated that she’d be willing to take charge of all three of the Jackson kids. It’s extraordinarily unlikely she’ll be awarded custody of the youngest (“Blanket” Jackson), however, since Debbie Rowe is not his biological mother and was already divorced from Jackson before the tot came on the scene. As for the other two…well, she has a right to make a claim.

And it seems that she will. In a recent statement, Rowe had this to say: “They are my flesh and blood. I’m going after my children.” And the hefty monetary support that comes with them.

I know everyone has cracked jokes about him for the better part of 15 years now, but it’s sad that he’s gone. I remember busting out moonwalks as a kid.

Pity he died! Jackson was a unique music phenomenon! There are no other singers like he! Too pity!
