Is Jennifer Lopez heading toward her third divorce?

According to a new report, the 4 1/2 year marriage between Lopez and Marc Anthony could be coming to a close. This news comes after weeks of speculation about their relationship.

Rumors about possible trouble kicked into high gear after Jennifer’s appearance at The Curious Case of Benjamin Button premiere. Not only was Marc not there - the ringless singer was in Las Vegas doing a little partying of his own - neither was her wedding ring. (This may explain why she looked particularly hot that night. In tomorrow’s issue of Us Weekly, the magazine says J.Lo’s absent band was not left behind on accident. “They both didn’t wear their rings on purpose. Nothing Jennifer does is without purpose,” a source states. The report also claims that Anthony’s supposed badmouthing and control issues may be factors behind their current state.

Although the two were seen dining and smooching in Beverly Hills last night, the couple had reportedly not been spotted out together since October 23. And as we’ve learned from Madonna and Guy Ritchie, public outings are often used as a gossip stalling technique. I guess we’ll know for sure which way Jennifer and Marc’s marriage is going when Alex Rodriguez’s name gets thrown into the mix.
