Kristen Stewart in Oscar de la Renta

Amidst the shocking Spring/Summer ‘10 runway looks and embracing color for once, New Moon star Kristen Stewart saved her most elegant and lavish outfit for the Los Angeles premiere.

Gracing the red carpet in an Oscar de la Renta design, Stewart admitted that this was her first time wearing a gown! “I’ve never worn a gown before, and his is really the only time I would do it. I’m really proud of this thing, you know?” she revealed.

At her ripe age of 19, she had to start some time.

In the video, she also comments on the madness and insanity of the New Moon craze: “This will never happen to me again, so I think you have to make yourself enjoy—you have to make yourself just be present.” Won’t she be doing this again for Eclipse and Breaking Dawn?

Either way, she didn’t necessarily seem all that excited about “being present.” When the interview said the event was “a pretty great experience,” Stewart simply stated, “It’s awesome,” in an unequivocal, facetious tone. She followed up her energy with saying that she wants “to do nothing so bad.”

Can’t she just… not act in the Twilight films? I’m sure those million-dollar paychecks are worth doing something so badly.
