LaBeouf Reportedly Not to Blame for Crash

Shia LaBeoufAfter escaping charges for being drunk at a Chicago Walgreen’s and for puffing away where he wasn’t supposed to, it’s now looking Shia LaBeouf could luck out again.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, it appears the actor was not at fault for Sunday’s accident at all. Spokesman Steve Whitmore says the driver of the other vehicle actually ran a red light and caused Shia’s vehicle to flip. (You can see video of his overturned car here.)

But this isn’t to say the 22-year-old will get away without at least a slap on his injured wrist. Although he may not have been the cause of the crash, that doesn’t mean he wasn’t driving drunk. Officers report that he exhibited “obvious signs of intoxication” at the scene.

LaBeouf - who has not yet been arraigned on any DUI charges - is expected to return to the set of within a month.
