Quote of the Day: Beyonce on Rings

Beyonce Knowles

For the November issue of Essence magazine, singer Beyonce Knowles finally opens up about her April wedding to Jay-Z.

In the interview, Knowles explains why she was against a big traditional wedding (“It’s been my day so many days already”) and why she didn’t want an engagement ring:

“People put too much emphasis on that. It’s just material and it’s just silly to me.”

Uhhh….is this coming from the same person currently sporting a $5 million dollar ring?

(You can find other notable quotes here.)

Comments:

I believe that what Beyonce is saying is true and definitly coming from the heart…..and she didn’t ask Jay Z to buy her a 5 million dollar ring he just loves her that much. That is why they are still together.  I support them two all the way.
