Report: Chris Brown and Rihanna Back Together Again

Those hoping Rihanna would completely sever ties from Chris Brown will have to wait a bit longer.

Less than three weeks after the alleged assault, the “Disturbia” singer and her (former?) beau have reunited. According to a source for People magazine, the two (along with one of Jay-Z’s bodyguards) are currently spending time together at one of Sean Combs’ homes on Miami Beach’s Star Island. (A relaxed Brown was recently snapped jet skiing in the area.)

“They’re together again. They care for each other,” the insider claimed. “While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves.”

Although Rihanna spent part of her birthday crafting a statement for the media, she also found time to take a call from Chris. “He called to wish her happy birthday,” a source told People. “They’ve reached out to each other. It’s been mutual.”

So how does Ronald Fenty feel about this surprise reunion? Despite previously wishing his daughter would “move on,” Ronald now claims he will stand by the 21-year-old’s decisions. “Whatever road she chooses, I’m behind her,” Fenty stated. “We are a family who stick together even though we are apart.”
