Ryan Philippe and Abbie Cornish Go Public

Nearly two months after brooding cutie Ryan Philippe told USA Today that “it’s bizarre” to see his ex-wife Reese Witherspoon with another man (Jake Gyllenhaal), Ryan has finally lived up to the rumors that him and his Stop-Loss co-star were dating.
Philippe and his new girl, Abbie Cornish, appeared together at a 2008 Australian in Film Breakthrough Awards, making it quite clear to everyone that they were indeed an item. “They were adorable,” a guest recalls. “He had his arm around her and they were cozy and comfortable.”
The actress from down under was honored for a Breakthrough Award for her performance in the Kimberly Peirce’s military drama.
Read More Many have speculated for some time that the Australian actress was the other woman who got between Ryan and Reese, ultimately breaking the two apart. While both Cornish and Philippe vehemently deny the accusations, it appears as if only America’s former sweethearts will know.
Either way, Reese is now dating Jake Gyllenhaal; that girl is so lucky!
