Sarah Palin Responds to Levi’s Johnston

Sarah Palin, Levi Johnston

Levi Johnston has been getting a fair amount of press attention, a lot of it due to his association with former Alaska governor Sarah Palin. You see, he’s going to bare it all in Playgirl and he happened to be the one to knock up Palin’s oldest daughter.

If that wasn’t enough, he’s made a few incendiary comments to the media recently regarding his dear, nearly mother-in-law. On a recent Early Show appearance, Levi called Palin’s song Trig “retarded,” (he’s got Down’s syndrome) and later added that he, Levi, could get Palin “in trouble and could hurt her.” Oh, do tell.

His comments finally provoked a response from Sarah Palin herself, who had this to say: “We have purposefully ignored the mean-spirited, malicious and untrue attacks on our family.” The statement continues, “We, like many, are appalled at the inflammatory statements being made or implied.”

She maybe should have left it at that. However, Palin added, “Those who would sell their body for money reflect a desperate need for attention and are likely to say and do anything for even more attention.”

But selling yourself in a book, now that is something else entirely. That’s not asking for attention at all.

I’m with you on that one… wink

I’m with you in that you should vote for who or what you believe in.  I also think the PEOPLE NEED TO REGISTER so that they can VOTE! Voter registration or Absentee ballads can be picked up at your county offices. Most colleges have voter registration cards available to students. grin

Thanks Andru. Gotta tell ya I’m really on the fence with this election. Kinda wish Ron Paul was still in the running.

Anyway, everyone that can, go vote in this election. Otherwise don’t complain later as you had your chance to express yourself at the polling booth. (i.e. One vote, endless right to complain afterwords. No vote, quit yer whining)

Hey, I may still vote for Ron Paul as a write in. Seriously considering it. I believe in voting for who you think would do the best job, as opposed to the lesser of two evils.
