Brangelina at Cannes

The is officially underway, and that means it’s time to talk about red carpet fashion once more. Celebs flock to Cannes to see and be seen, even those who have absolutely no movies debuting at the glittering event. Some were a sight to behold…others were just a sight.

Parker was totally glam on the red carpet in turquoise, a floor-length number from Versace. Angelina Jolie, who can’t hope to hide her baby belly, wore a flowing green number with an empress-cut waist (Max Azaria).

, meanwhile, was a complete mess in a gold Christian Lacroix frock with black feathers dancing on her shoulders. I actually saw a set of drapes once that looked just like this. One word sums up Moore’s look: egads!

Cate Blanchett

‘s strapless smoke-gray gown with tiered ruffles was smokin’, but Cate’s windswept locks and weird white and black necklace were definite misses.

Star Jones

made the monumentally bad decision to wear a snug-fitting blue and brown floral print that made her look far too top heavy. Anyone know what she was doing at Cannes, or who convinced her to don that dress?

Natalie Portman

chose black and purple - colors often associated with a bruise. Her bright, ruffled flock and black belt looked more suited to Dakota Fanning than a true Hollywood queen. It’s all about being age-appropriate these days, Natalie.
