Early Friday morning, golf superstar Tiger Woods was injured in a car accident near his home in Florida. Woods was taken immediately to Health Central Hospital to treat facial lacerations. His condition was first reported to be “serious.”

According to reports, the golfer hit a fire hydrant and a tree on a property approximately 100 feet away from his own driveway. Police at the scene say that alcohol was not a factor in the accident.

Tiger’s rep delivered a recent update to the press, saying the accident was “minor” and that Woods has already been “released in good condition.” He’s scheduled to appear in Thousand Oaks, California on December 3. There’s no word yet on whether or not he’ll make the gig.
