The CW managed to keep these mug shots under wraps under after their new hit series, The Vampire Diaries, premiered - but only just. Hours after the show created a stir on the network, these photos magically made it to the Internet.

Nina Dobrev, Sara Canning, Candice Accola and Kayla Ewell, all stars of the show, were busted on August 22 along with Tyler Shields (who was taking photos) and Krystal Vayda, an actress who isn’t part of the show’s cast.

The group of six was hanging out near I-75 on the Rumble Road Bridge in Georgia at 3:42 in the afternoon (not so vampy, that). They were posing for pics in a most distracting manner - pretending to push each other over the railing, hanging down off the bridge, climbing around the rails, etc.

A spokesperson for the police involved said that those arrested were all “cooperative.” After being booked and posing for their police photos, the group paid a fine and got sprung. The CW’s got the trendy new shows, the mug shots and the ratings. Tell the other networks to start sweating.
