Weeds Co-Stars Engaged
Every once in a while, you come across a person you hardly now….and you find yourself rooting for them. For me, Mary-Louise Parker is one of those people.
Why? Two words: Billy Crudup.
Although I loved him in Almost Famous, the actor’s Q-score went down (in my eyes) when he left a 7-months-pregnant Parker for actress Claire Danes. Couldn’t he have waited until she at least had the baby? Dear God—they’d already been dating like seven years at that point…what’s a few more months?
Read More Anyway that moment (still engrained in my bitter memory) happened about four years ago. Since that time, Mary-Louise has moved on and earned kudos for various projects ranging from Angels in America to Weeds. She’s also raised her son (and a newly-adopted daughter) alone. So when I heard that Parker was now engaged to actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan, I was thrilled. Even though they had an off-and-on relationship, the Weeds co-star made her look absolutely happy during the times they were together. Plus, he’s that sensitive, hunky guy who died on Izzie! How could you not love him?? Congrats, Mary-Louise! Show Crapup what he’s missing!
