Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt don't want their children to be actors.
The couple raise six kids together - Maddox, 12, Pax, 10, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, seven, and twins Vivienne and Knox, five - and despite letting Vivienne have a cameo in her new film Maleficent, Angelina is not encouraging them to become screen stars.
"We think it's fun for our kids to have cameos and join us on set, but not to be actors. That's not the goal for Brad and me at all. I think we would both prefer that they didn't become actors. But she was four at the time and other three and four year old [actors] really wouldn't come near me. Big kids thought I was cool - but little kids didn't really like me. So, in order to have a child that wants to play with [Maleficent]... it had to be a child that really liked me and wasn't afraid of my horns and my eyes and claws, so it had to be Viv," she said.
Charlotte Church says that Miley Cyrus has a "skewed perspective."
The 28-year-old singer - who was catapulted to the spotlight as a classical singer before branching into pop music in 2005 - can relate the young "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker, 21, who made headlines last year for a number of provocative performances, and expects she will change her attitude in a few years.
"It's so obvious this young lady has a skewed perspective because of what she's been through. All she knows is to sell and be sold. This sounds patronizing but in a couple of years she'll change her tune. I went through a similar-ish thing, not to the depths she is taking it to. But it's exhibitionism. As a teenager, you're really egocentric. Why would you give a f**k about the rest of society," Charlotte said.
Jaden Smith has reached out to Shia LaBeouf, insisting he has a "fellow insane" friend in him.
The 15-year-old star tried to visit the 27-year-old Hollywood actor - who wore a brown paper bag over his head to the German premiere of his new film Nymphomaniac earlier this month and has repeatedly insisted he is no longer famous - at his #IAMSORRY silent art installation in Los Angeles, and though they never got to meet, Jaden wants Shia to know he is "seriously" there to give him support.
If you didn't want to wait in line for hours to see Shia LaBeouf's art installation (or if you just live nowhere near Los Angeles), now is your chance to see what everyone's been talking about - even when Shia isn't.
An interviewer at Screen Junkies went into the exhibit armed with a video camera (check out the full video after the jump!) and immediately asked Shia to take the paper bag off of his head. When the Nymphomaniac star didn't respond, the interviewer removed the bag himself and was in shock that it was the actor himself and not someone he, say, hired off of Craigslist. The 27-year-old actor remained seated and continued to stare forward with a melancholic look as the interviewer tried to get a response from him by showing him a clip of his younger self in Even Stevens; berated him about Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull; and then tried word association.
Shirley Temple passed away yesterday.
The former child actress passed away from natural causes at her home in Woodside, California yesterday at the age of 85, her agent has confirmed.
"She was surrounded by her family and caregivers. We salute her for a life of remarkable achievements as an actor, as a diplomat, and... our beloved mother, grandmother [and] great-grandmother," her family said in a statement.
Shirley landed her first movie role at the age of three and, in 1935, she became the youngest person to receive an Academy Award - a record she still holds - when she won a special juvenile Oscar aged just six. She starred in over 43 films - including Bright Eyes, Stand Up and Cheer and Curly Top but struggled to maintain her cinematic career in adulthood and retired from movies in 1950, though she continued to work in television. Following the end of her entertainment career, Shirley served as a U.S. ambassador to Ghana and Czechoslovakia.
Bruce Jenner's daughters are "confused" by his current appearance.
The reality star has recently undergone a laryngeal shave to make his Adam's apple smaller and is sporting dyed hair with highlights and longer nails, and his daughters Kendall, 18, and Kylie, 16, with estranged wife Kris Jenner don't understand the new look.
"Kylie and Kendall just don't know what to think. It's extremely confusing for them to grasp. There is just no denying Bruce's recent physical changes, and he does look more feminine. It's been especially hard for 16-year-old Kylie because some of her friends have made jokes about Bruce's looks," a source said.
Kris has denied Bruce - who lives in Malibu, California, away from the family home in Calabasas - is undergoing a sex change and he has said he only had the throat operation because he didn't like the way his Adam's apple looked. "Kris always encouraged Bruce to have his face nipped and tucked. He has had plastic surgery to remove excess fat above his eyelids. The Adam's apple surgery is just following in that pattern," the source said.
"I went from people just thinking I was, like, a baby to people thinking I'm this, like, sex freak that really just pops molly and does lines all day. It's like, 'Has anyone ever heard of rock 'n' roll?' There's a sex scene in pretty much every single movie, and they go, 'Well, that's a character.' Well, that's a character. I don't really dress as a teddy bear and, like, twerk on Robin Thicke, you know?"

Miley Cyrus has compared Sinead O'Connor to Amanda Bynes. The starlet hasn't responded well to the open letter the Irish hitmaker penned this morning, in which she warned Miley her provocative behavior and scantily-clad performances would leave her "prostituted" by the music business.
The former Hannah Montana star has taken to Twitter to slam Sinead, poking fun of her mental health and likening her to troubled actress Amanda, who has spent the summer in a psychiatric hospital. "Before Amanda Bynes.... There was...," she wrote, attaching a screenshot of a tweets from an account she believed was Sinead's, clamoring for psychiatric help. While the account was a fake, Sinead did post suicidal tweets in 2011 and has struggled with mental illness in the past.
Lady Gaga thinks people need to "lighten up" and leave Miley Cyrus alone. The "Applause" singer has come to the defense of the "We Can't Stop" hitmaker, who caused controversy with her salacious on-stage antics at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) last month, insisting Miley was expressing herself as a musical artist.
In an interview with talk show Watch What Happens Live last night, she said, "I mean, I just think everybody needs to lighten up and leave her alone. Because it's pop music. Everybody's entitled to their own artistic expression, and if you have a problem with it, just change the channel."
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's daughter Zahara is set to be maid of honor at their wedding. The couple are reportedly in the final planning stages for their bog day and are set to tie the knot in Los Angeles in the next few weeks.
Zahara, eight, has her heart set on having a major role and her parents seem happy to fulfil her wish and the couple's other kids, Maddox, 12, Pax, nine, Shiloh, seven, and five-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, will also be part of the ceremony.
"Zahara wants to be maid of honor and knowing Angelina she'll let her. Shiloh wants to be an usher and Pax and Maddox have said they'll help Brad's brother Doug be best man. The wedding is mainly for their children and they want it to happen at home in LA," a source said.
The wedding was originally supposed to take place at their Chateau Miraval estate in Provence, France, but Brad and Angelina chose LA so that all of their friends and family can attend.
