Robsten Goes Noir For Harper’s Bazaar

In a sad but much needed effort to boost magazine sales, Harper’s Bazaar placed Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart on their December cover.

While their pose on the cover comes off rather awkward (where is her neck? why do his fingers don’t seem to want to touch her? why does she look like Ashley Greene?), the photos coinciding with their interviews (seen after the jump) seem too natural to be an act, piling more evidence to their questionable real-life romance.

Shot by Mark Seliger, the photo shoot is very noir-inspired—the goal was to make Kristen look “vampish and sexy.” The tomboy traded in her Converses and Rock & Republic frocks for a gorgeous Alexander McQueen gown, as well as Valentino and Yves St. Laurent pieces. While anything and everything looks good on Pattinson, he wears Dior Homme (in case you wanted to note that somewhere in your homemade shrine).

I’m beginning to think that the two stay tight-lipped about their relationship just so we crave these magazine features and interviews—would we really be that interested in all of this Twilight hoopla if we weren’t trying to figure out if they were together in real life?

Katy Perry Changed Russell Brand

While his soiled hair, uncouth mouth, and lack of manners made it quite clear that British comedian Russell Brand was a stranger to normal, monogamous relationships, it would seem as of late that his girlfriend Katy Perry is changing his view of the world.

“There have been times when I have been in the company of prostitutes and they were the most wonderful women in the world,” Brand said, reflecting on his past behavior.

Apparently, those times are behind him, and he’s ready to embrace the “I Kissed a Girl” popstar, which I honestly didn’t believe, despite their very public affection for each other.

“She’s lovely. I am living in a different way at the moment. Regardless of what happens in my current situation, I am unlikely to be satisfied with the calamitous promiscuity of the preceding five or six years.”

Despite numerous public appearances together in the past few weeks (including one just last night in Beverly Hills), Valentine’s Day co-stars Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner have not yet confirmed an official romance. But that won’t keep a curious talk show host from prying.

On today’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the country star did her best to get around any questions about the New Moon hunk. When asked about a recent off-camera outing together, Swift cutely replied: “I really like hockey a lot. And it turns out—so does he!”

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Share Hotel Suite

Let the guessing game continue: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are living together.

The New Moon co-stars, who play lovers in the vampire thriller and are rumored to be dating in real life, are reportedly sharing a penthouse hotel suite while they film the third instalment of the film franchise in Vancouver, Canada. The pair are believed to have rented out the entire 34th floor of the Sheraton Wall Centre Hotel at a cost of $850 a suite each night.

A source told Britain’s More magazine, “They have two rooms joined by a door. They use a third suite on the floor to listen to music or watch Blu-ray movies on a large, flat screen, when they stay in after a day’s shooting or on weekends.”

Each lavish suite boasts two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining room and a large living room. The source added, “They’re great. Every room has floor-to-ceiling windows and large, flat screen TVs and chandeliers. The baths double as Jacuzzis. And, best of all, that floor has its own butler and security. Robert and Kristen are transported to and from the set by accessing a private elevator system in the hotel that leads to a gated and guarded garage.”

While the two stars enjoy luxury surroundings in the secure building, the rest of the cast are reportedly staying in rented apartments nearby.

Birthday Surprise Paris Hilton

Party extraordinaire Paris Hilton jumped out of a cake at her boyfriend’s birthday.

The blonde socialite threw the surprise party for Doug Reinhardt at her Beverly Hills mansion last Saturday and wore a sexy hot pink outfit and a black diamond mask as she burst out of the giant-sized sweet treat.

A source revealed, “Paris went all out for her man’s birthday. No expense was spared. He had no idea about the party and was so happy.”

Paris was so keen to impress The Hills star, whom she reunited with in the summer when he whisked her away on a romantic break to Fiji, she organized for rap group Three 6 Mafia and hip-hop star Ya Boy to perform for partygoers.

Guests including Hollywood beauties Hayden Panettiere and Kristanna Loken, partied until 3am at the nightclub Paris has built in her home, while home videos of the couple were screened throughout the mansion.

Jennifer Love Hewitt Calls Break-Up Rumors Hurtful

Ghost Whisperer star Jennifer Love Hewitt cannot catch a break! First there were the tabloids heckling her weight, then there were break-up rumors regarding her current boyfriend, actor/comedian Jamie Kennedy.

Never one to let the gossip slip past her unnoticed, Hewitt is speaking out to defend her relationship.

“I’m not going to lie—it’s not annoying, it’s hurtful… It’s really hurtful that people say that because he is like the most awesome person.”

Well said, Hewitt.

The actress continued to laud her boyfriend (and co-star) of 8 months: “I really hate that people would make it seem like he’s not really a good guy, and not treating me well. He treats me very well.”

And Jamie? “I am lucky to be with her. And I love her very much.” Sounds like love is still in the air! Eight months is fairly impressive for celebrity standards, after all.

In the month since the Video Music Awards, Katy Perry’s relationship with Brand has become a hot topic of the paparazzi. Now the two are feeling comfortable enough to display a little PDA.

Shortly after the MTV event, the singer and the actor traveled to Thailand for a little vacation together. Since that time, the new couple has been snapped around Paris at Fashion Week and near Jim Morrison’s grave. The photo above was taken yesterday outside of LAX.

Based on comments made earlier this month to The Sun, it appears the British comedian may consider Katy to be more than just a fling. “I think I’m in love,” he said.

Co-Star Had No Idea About Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin

So maybe True Blood‘s Ryan Kwanten not having a clue about co-stars Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin’s relationship wasn’t necessarily his fault. Turns out their other co-star, Sam Trammell, had not a clue, either!

In a post-Emmy party, Trammell, who plays the shapeshifter Sam Merlotte on the hit vampire show, revealed that he didn’t see it coming: “I think they’re both just really independent, really talented people, and they just kind of fit together… They’re so professional, I had no idea they were together at first. And then I had no idea he’d proposed to her.”

Don’t count on fiction meshing with reality here—Sam, whose character is in love with Anna’s Sookie despite her relationship with vampire Bill (Moyer), has nothing but good wishes for the newly-engaged: “They’ve been together a long time, and it’s working out. I’m happy for them.”
