Perhaps when you're an entertainment reporter, you ought to Google the celebrity - as a precaution! - you're about to interview - before you make a mistake like KTLA anchor Sam Rubin did with Samuel L. Jackson.
Jackson appeared on the news show to promote his film Robocop when Rubin asked him about his Super Bowl commercial. The Avengers star quickly realized that Rubin mixed him up with The Matrix actor Laurence Fishburne - who did a Kia car commercial for the Super Bowl - and was even quicker to chastise RubIn: "What Super Bowl commercial? You're as crazy as the people on Twitter. I'm not Laurence Fishburne!"

Lamar Odom reportedly insists he was drunk when he made a topless rap video.
The basketball player - whose four-year marriage to Khloe Kardashian has been rocked by allegations he cheated on her and has been battling an addiction to crack cocaine - has told friends that the clip, which showed him in a Los Angeles bathroom with friend Jamie Sanouthai, slurring his words in a song which referenced being unfaithful and smoking drugs, was shot after he had consumed too much alcohol.
According to TMZ, he also told pals there were no drugs involved and it was just a one-off incident as he is now clean and determined to resurrect his sporting career.
Lamar recently confirmed he is in negotiations to re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers and is believed to have met with head coach Doc Rivers and Clippers GM Gary Sacks earlier this month. The road to Lamar's NBA comeback has not been without struggle. The 14-year veteran, who previously played for the Clippers during the 2012-2013 season, was arrested for DUI (Driving Under the Influence) on August 30 and later pleaded not guilty. At the time of Lamar's arrest, 29-year-old Khloe and the rest of the Kardashian family had been urging him to seek treatment. The couple have since been attending counseling sessions and are "using it as a forum to talk through all of their issues."
Chelsea Handler mocked Reese Witherspoon's drunken arrest last night.
The chat show host took the opportunity to tease her good friend as she presented the Legally Blonde actress with an award at the ELLE Women In Hollywood 2013 ceremony, joking about her infamous disorderly conduct arrest video. The footage, which leaked online in April, saw Reese verbally insult a policeman who arrested her husband Jim Toth on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI) in Atlanta, Georgia.
"'Personally, as a true friend, my favorite project of hers was an overlooked short film that she made earlier this year. She plays a very inebriated housewife defending her inebriated husband ... And if you haven't seen it, you can go on YouTube," Chelsea said.
Reese took the joke well and was seen doubled over laughing in her seat as good sport Jim chuckled next to her. There were clearly no hard feelings between the pair as Reese posed next to Chelsea for a photo opportunity at the swanky banquet held at the Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills.
The video above is considered to be a critical piece of evidence in Lindsay Lohan’s still-unfolding grand theft case -- it’s footage of her actually “stealing” the $2,500 necklace that may put her in jail.
In this video, part of the surveillance footage recorded by Kamofie & Co. cameras, you’ll see Linds leaving the jewelry store while wearing the necklace.

Hugh Jackman may be an action star, but he's been taking a lot of hits off the screen lately.
Earlier this month, the Wolverine took a hard hit to the face during a taping of Oprah in Australia. (Jackman, who was attempting to zipline his way to the stage, smacked into a lighting rig.)
Over the weekend, it was the lower half of Hugh's body that took the blow. In the video above, you can see the moment when a ball thrown by professional cricket player Shane Warne meets Jackman's groin.

If you didn’t actually watch the signing of the historic health care reform bill, you definitely heard about it or saw the video replay - and not for the reasons most people might think.
As he shook the President’s hand in historic Washington, D.C., while he was witness to the signing of a large piece of legislature, Vice President Joe Biden dropped the f-bomb. Oops. You can see and hear the comment in the video above - listen closely for it right around the 14-second mark.
Joe Biden’s comment (which was “This is a big f—-ing deal”) has now been immortalized on a T-shirt, which you can purchase on the official Barack Obama Web site. The shirt features the date of the signing of the bill and the letters “BFD” in big black type. This is not an April Fool’s joke (at least, we don’t think so), and sources say the slightly tongue-in-cheek T is well and truly backed by the Democratic National Committee.

Let’s face it—everyone experiences gas. Even athletes at the top of their game. During CBS’ coverage of the Buick Open this weekend, the cameras - and microphones - were able to catch an awkward moment between Tiger Woods and his caddy at the 18th hole.
Although something is clearly heard, and the two men are seen laughing afterward, the network has denied to TMZ that the noise came from the golfer. (CBS has not provided the name of the fall guy though.) Watch the video and you be the judge.
(You can get another angle of Woods and his caddy post-poot here.)

As celebrities like Eric Roberts, John Mayer, and Milo Ventimiglia pushed for a crack down on paparazzi laws earlier this week, LAPD Chief William Bratton shared his true feelings about the paparazzi to reporters:
“If you notice, since Britney started wearing clothes and behaving; Paris is out of town not bothering anybody anymore, thank God, and evidently, Lindsay Lohan has gone gay, we don’t seem to have much of an issue.”
Despite whether it’s true or not, Lindsay wasn’t too happy with the police chief’s remark, stating that “Police chiefs shouldn’t get involved in everyone else’s business when it comes to their personal life. It’s inappropriate.”
Surprisingly, I’d have to agree with her for once. At the same time, one can argue that she is one of the major contributing factors (along with Britney and Paris) in the rise of crazed paparazzi, yet Bratton, in my opinion, really had no right to say what he did as a police official.
