Evangeline Lilly and her boyfriend Dominic MonaghanEvangeline Lilly thinks that people have to stop having babies to save the planet.

The actress, who is been dating her co-star Dominic Monaghan since they met on the set of Lost in 2004, believes people are procreating at an alarming rate and must slow down their baby-making or adopt to “protect” the Earth.

“For a very long time, I have had intentions to adopt. We have a huge population problem on Earth. We’re not going to protect the Earth the way we need to protect it if we don’t stop making so many babies.”

Despite her views on adoption, the 30-year-old beauty is desperate to experience the “gift” of pregnancy and will “allow” herself one baby of her own:

“I have always wanted to have a child of my own, and I will always want to go through the gift that women have been given to experience that, so I hope to be a mother at some point. I think I can allow myself one child - and from then on, I think I would have to adopt. It makes sense not to add to the population problem.”

Padma Lakshmi

It’s time once again to congratulate those celebrities entering into parenthood:

Padma Lakshmi: There’s something in the water in that Top Chef kitchen. Back on August 1, judge Tom Colicchio’s wife delivered a baby boy. Now Padma is expecting a child of her own. The pregnancy is being considered a near “medical miracle” for the long-time endometriosis sufferer. (Lakshmi is actually a co-founder of Endometriosis Foundation of America.) Because of her “delicate” condition, her rep has asked the media “to respect Ms. Lakshmi’s privacy at this time.” The identity of the baby’s father is unknown.

Lily Allen can't wait for kidsLily Allen thinks that her best achievement will be raising children.

The “Not Fair” singer, who suffered a miscarriage in 2008, is desperate to become a mother and knows that she’ll provide her kids with all the love and care they need.

“I’ll be proud once I’ve had kids and they’ve grown up all right. I want to do it now. I don’t feel like I’m very good at anything in life, and I think that’s one thing I probably will be quite good at, being a mum. I think I’ll love my kids, and I think I’ll do it really well.”

Although she is keen to have children, the 24-year-old star doesn’t think that she needs to be in a relationship to do so and admits she finds it hard finding suitors. Lily, who is currently dating painter and decorator Sam Cooper, said, “I don’t necessarily need a man. It would have to be the right person. It’s difficult for me to find someone. I want to be looked after, and I also want to be with someone who is not intimidated by me and what I do. That’s quite difficult to find. That person would have to be quite successful and powerful. I’d like him to be proud of me but not impressed.”

On tonight’s broadcast of The Jay Leno Show, a supposedly pregnant quieted the rumors once and for all. In a form-fitting dress, the mother of one told the host that she is not expecting another.

“I was getting a complex! Because I was like, I’ve got to stop with the burgers or something!” Berry said of the increased media speculation.

Will this denial keep Perez Hilton from pointing at her belly? We shall see!

Matthew McConaughey with Camila Alves and son LeviMatthew McConaughey calls his son “the fruit bandit.”

The 39-year-old actor and his partner Camila Alves, who is pregnant with their second child, came up with the unusual nickname for 14-month-old Levi because he can’t stop eating healthy foods.

Referring to 100m sprint world record holder Usain Bolt, Matthew said, “Levi is doing terrific waiting for his little bro or sis… we had to super child proof the new house because he’s motoring around like Usain Bolt—Camila and I can barely keep up. We call him the fruit bandit ‘cause if there’s fruit out, he’s on it, taking it and eating it. He’s getting bigger, more fun, smarter and craftier by the day.”

Matthew added that the whole family is excited about the new arrival, which is due at the end of the year and have started trying to guess the sex: “Above and beyond all other news, the most exciting thing is my lady Camila and I got another baby on the way… not sure if it’s a boy or girl but we have our instincts… what are you thinking?”

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and husband Pete with son BronxAshlee Simpson-Wentz says that yoga helped her bond with her son.

The 24-year-old star, who has a nine-month-old baby, Bronx Mowgli, with husband Pete Wentz, loved doing the low-impact stretching exercises when she was pregnant as it made her feel closer to her baby.

“Your body is changing, and it’s such an amazing time to feel that connection. I did prenatal yoga, which was a nice way to mellow down and focus on me and Bronx. Being pregnant was the healthiest I’ve ever been in my life. Except for the cupcakes!”

Ashlee enjoyed being pregnant, adding that it gave her valuable time to adjust to the way her life was changing: “I’ve grown up so much. The great thing about being pregnant is that you have nine months and it really does prepare you. Being a mom’s so empowering and incredible. I’m one of those people who believes that life brings things to you at a certain time for a certain reason, and if you just go with it, that’s where the best moments come from.”
