Questionable Outfit of the Day: Mary-Louise Parker

I’m not sure what pains me more—looking at this strange ensemble or having to trash Mary-Louise Parker.

As much as I admire the Weeds actress, I just can’t let this outfit slide. A baggy, army green dress coupled with blue-grey heels? Thank goodness her visit to the Late Show wasn’t scheduled for the same night as Anna Wintour’s appearance. I think Vogue‘s editor-in-chief would have had a lot more to talk about than David Letterman’s socks.

Engagement Over for Mary-Louise Parker

I give up.  I’m not sure when Mary-Louise Parker will get her happy ending now.

Just two months after I congratulated the Weeds actress for her engagement, People magazine reports the blissful period is sadly over.  For reasons currently unknown, she and co-star Jeffrey Dean Morgan have already called it quits.  Hopefully this decision will finally put an end to the former couple’s on-again, off-again relationship.

Now Parker has a highly-publicized breakup with Billy Crudup and a broken engagement to Morgan under her belt.  Luckily, the mother of two has much more important things to attend to.

Weeds Co-Stars Engaged

Every once in a while, you come across a person you hardly now….and you find yourself rooting for them.  For me, Mary-Louise Parker is one of those people.

Why?  Two words: Billy Crudup.

Although I loved him in Almost Famous, the actor’s Q-score went down (in my eyes) when he left a 7-months-pregnant Parker for actress Claire Danes.  Couldn’t he have waited until she at least had the baby? Dear God—they’d already been dating like seven years at that point…what’s a few more months?
