Weirdest Michael Jackson Lawsuit Ever?
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Legal Issues
Helen Harris-Scott just ran away with the Crazy Lawsuit of the Year award, suing the Michael Jackson estate for $50 million. Considering the number of people popping out of the woodwork to posthumously sue the King of Pop, this in itself is not surprising. But just wait.
In the past, Helen Harris-Scott has accused Jackson of wiretapping her phone, placing tracking devices in her vehicle and hiring “organized criminals” to watch her. She also once said that Jackson communicated to her through his music. Let’s count the minutes until this suit gets thrown out of court.

Someone Else Sues Michael Jackson
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Child Stars, Legal Issues
Michael Jackson has even more legal trouble dead than alive - and that’s really saying something.
It all began when Julien’s Auction House put around 170 items up on the block, a Michael Jackson collection that was bid upon by one Richard Lapointe. The auction, however, was canceled. As a result, Lapointe is suing the Jackson estate and the auction house.
The suit contends that Lapointe was the only bidder on 82 items in the collection, and further mentions that he might have been the highest bidder on 88 more items. Since Julien’s sent confirmation of Lapointe’s bid on these items, he thinks he’s entitled to some money.

Michael Jackson Too Shy For Madonna
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Music, Rumors
So if Madonna and Michael Jackson were good friends, why did we never hear a collaboration out of it? The Queen of Pop thought found the King to be “too shy.”
The “Revolver” singer spent weeks working with the King of Pop several years ago, but never recorded a duet with him because Michael was scared of Madonna’s “provocative” music.
“We spent a chunk of time together, and became friends, but it never happened. I wrote a bunch of words and presented them to him, and he didn’t want to go there. He didn’t want to be provocative. And I said, ‘Well, why come to me?’ I mean, that’s like asking Quentin Tarantino to not put any violence in his films. I felt like he was too inhibited, too shy.”
Madonna paid tribute to Michael in an emotional speech at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this month. Even though she used the occasion to “say goodbye” to her old friend, the star admits that she can’t stop thinking about Michael, and the torment he faced at the hands of the media.

Michael Jackson Being Posthumously Sued

Erie Bonnie is suing Michael Jackson’s estate for a “herpes cure, acne cures and arthritis cures” which Bonnie allegedly invented.
In addition to the theft allegations, Erie also claims that “someone from the Jackson family came by my house and shot a 22 pistol in the air. They turned around in a neighbor’s driveway and drove away.”
Sounds quite…unbelievable.
At any rate, the King of Pop’s estate is being sued for nine copyrights, and even an idea for an automobile insurance policy.
So, wait a minute…there’s a cure for herpes?

Michael Jackson Kids Coping Differently
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Music, Meltdowns, Rumors
Michael Jackson‘s son Prince Michael II cries himself to sleep every night.
The late pop star’s seven-year-old son, known as Blanket, is so distraught about his father’s death that he constantly asks where his “daddy” is and sobs in his bedroom.
A Jackson family friend said, “He cries himself to sleep and keeps asking where his daddy is. His aunt Rebbie spent the first few nights sleeping on a cot bed beside him because he was scared to sleep alone. He acts pretty wild during the day.”
Michael’s three children, 12-year-old son Prince Michael I, 11-year-old daughter Paris and Blanket, have been looked after by their legal guardian and grandmother Katherine Jackson since the “Thriller” singer’s passing.
While the youngest sibling is visibly emotional, Paris is reportedly coping with her grief in quieter ways: “Paris does a lot of reading and watercolor painting and hair-braiding with her cousins, who visit every day and she speaks regularly to a handful of friends on her mobile phone.”
But the eldest, Prince, has caused such concern by spending hours playing computer games—Katherine has had to put time restrictions on his internet sessions: “Katherine makes sure that internet access is monitored and time-limited around the house.”

Michael Jackson’s Last Wishes
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Music, Drugs, Meltdowns
It has been revealed that Michael Jackson wrote a series of “wishes for the world” the day he died.
The late pop star left several motivational, handwritten notes in his bathroom before he passed away to help mentally prepare him for his London “This Is It” shows.
A source told Britain’s News of the World: “These notes show that Michael was positive until the last—but also what a mess his mind must have been as he fought to keep it all together towards the end.”
One of the notes read, “I am so grateful that I am a magnet for miracles.” The phrase “magnet for miracles” is one often used by self-help programs for recovering alcoholics, and it is believed regular repetition could improve your success of beating addiction.
Another note pinned to his mirror read, “Love, no violence ever! Remember a beautiful future promise of tomorrow.”
Friends of the late King of Pop’s say these words show he was positive, happy, and upbeat in his final days: “I think this reveals how positive Michael was until the last. He was such a sweet natured man who saw the good in everyone. The note about a beautiful future is especially sad as it shows he was looking forward to a successful, happy life.”

The Jacksons will reunite at the Michael Jackson tribute concert… and possibly perform?
Jermaine Jackson, who shot to fame in The Jackson 5 alongside his brothers Jackie, Tito, Marlon and Michael, has refused to rule out joining his musical family on stage at the show he is planning in Vienna, Austria, on September 26.
When asked if he plans to perform with his siblings, Jermaine said, “That could be one of the surprises. Being a producer I wanted to put a show together because it is a family thing. My family is very busy, Janet is doing something right now. I have invited all of them, so, you never know—once the music hits them they will probably want to come up and perform and do what they know how to do. But definitely I have committed myself to performing.”
Jermaine revealed he has invited his mother Katherine Jackson to the event, along with Michael’s three children—Prince Michael I, 12, Paris, 11, and seven-year-old Prince Michael II, also known as “Blanket.”
“I spoke to my mother and I said I wanted to do something for the fans in Europe. She has supported this from the very start.”

Michael Jackson’s Kids Pen Goodbye Notes
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Music, Kind Acts
Michael Jackson‘s children have written emotional goodbye letters, set to be placed in his coffin. Prince Michael I, 12, Paris, 11 and seven-year-old Prince Michael II, also known as Blanket, scrawled messages including “Daddy we love you” and “Daddy we miss you” on notes that will be buried with the King of Pop on Thursday.
The singer’s brother Marlon has spoken about the letters and other details of Michael’s funeral, which will be held in the family’s compound at the Los Angeles Forest Lawn Memorial Park. He claims Michael will also be buried with his trademark white glove, and has been fitted with a new shoulder-length wig. The star’s face has also been painted with full stage makeup.
Marlon told Britain’s Sunday Mirror newspaper: “This will be a private ceremony. His hairstylist has made his hair special and a make-up artist has gone in and fixed him up so he’s ready for the big day. This will be Michael’s final curtain call—the last show. His shell will be gone, but his spirit lives on.”
