Although I’m admittedly not a huge fan, I did learn one valuable lesson from her today.

During her first day back from maternity leave, the View co-host shared a number of stories, including one about unwanted exposure. After catching her new son, Isaiah, in a happy moment post-feeding, the mother of three whipped out her iPhone to snap his beautiful grin. Unfortunately, Elisabeth sent out the pic to her family distribution list before double-checking it.

Turns out her son was apparently smiling because he was eyeing…her nipple. (The iPhone doesn’t already have an app for accidental nudity?) “It’s worse than drunk dialing, to forward pictures post-pardum,” Hasselbeck claimed.

Kara DioGuardi Outs Lambert, Adam Disses Aiken

Given all the recent talk about American Idol‘s Adam Lambert, you would have thought the Season 8 runner-up was actually the winner. Maybe these two new tidbits will now put some of the chatter to rest.

Is Adam Lambert gay?

Even though it was believed the 27-year-old might soon reveal that answer to Rolling Stone magazine, someone else may have already done the work for him. On today’s episode of The View, judge Kara DioGuardi said Lambert’s sexuality has never been a mystery.

“I don’t think that Adam was ever in [the closet]. You know, I think he was always openly out.” Kara told the co-hosts. When Barbara Walters questioned that statement, Kara added: “From what I’ve seen on the various forms of things, I do. I never thought he wasn’t.”

Tom Cruise Talks About Jett Travolta’s Death

In a pre-taped interview for The View, talked to the ladies about the death of Jett Travolta. Tom - who is a well-known Scientologist - was quite close with both John and Kelly.

When asked for a comment on the tragedy, the choked up star found it difficult to express his emotions. “I remember Jett when he was born. I saw him when he was a few months old and John just adored him.”

Tom went on to deny any rumors about Scientologists being anti-medication. “That’s not true. It’s actually the opposite. They say, ‘Look get your physical, get your medication.’ Illness is handled. It’s actually the exact opposite.”

That segment with Cruise will air this Friday.

Jennifer Aniston Claims She Was Photoshopped

In the event you were busy downing eggnog last week, here’s an interesting tidbit you might have missed.

During a sit-down with the ladies of The View, Jennifer Aniston joked (?) that her sexy GQ spread was not just about good genes. The 39-year-old claims that her Look-at-Me-Now-Brad-Pitt-body was also Photoshopped. (In case you are not familiar with Photoshop, it’s the same editing program that supposedly gave Mischa Barton cellulite.)

So was Jennifer simply being honest…or was she trying to make the rest of us feel better? (Or was she actually just talking about the tie?) Either way, I’m reminded of a resolutions list that needs some dusting off…


Hollywood Stands United Behind New President-Elect

“God knows I fought hard for the other side,” The View’s Elisabeth Hasselbeck admitted on-air. “Today is a victory for this country,” she even managed a smile. “No one lost today.” Her comments, a shade different than her rabid Republican rantings of episodes past, are similar to the words of other celebs who today are celebrating a page in history. Who, today, are celebrating the stunning victory of a man named . “I haven’t felt this good,” she poured out seemingly heartfelt joy for the new President-elect, the first Democrat to get into the White House since Bill Clinton - and she isn’t alone.

Star Jones Responds to Barbara Walters’ Comments

Star Jones, Barbara WaltersIf you’ve been hiding under a rock somewhere, you might not have known that is currently promoting her new autobiography, Audition.

On yesterday’s episode of Oprah, the journalist actually talked about other matters that didn’t concern a senator or an affair.  In fact, the show started off on one of my other favorite topics, .  And while I thought Barbara did her best to talk about the situation in a tactful manner (it’s not like everyone didn’t know Star had gastric bypass), the former View co-host had an entirely different opinion.

Star Jones and Al Reynolds Divorcing

Al Reynolds, Star JonesIn early March, the National Enquirer reported that Star Jones and Al Reynolds were on the road to Splitsville.  After nearly 3 1/2 years of marriage, Star was supposedly getting tired of doing all the “heavy lifting” in the marriage.

Now almost 2 months later, Jones has finally admitted that the buzz was true.  On March 26, the former View co-host filed for divorce in New York.  In a statement issued exclusively to Entertainment Tonight, she said:

“Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life.  A month ago I filed for divorce.  The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone’s life that requires privacy with one’s thoughts.  I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman.”

So now she wants privacy?  I’d love to hear what has to say about that.

Are Star Jones and Al Reynolds Headed for Divorce?

Star Jones, Al ReynoldsWhat do Pam Anderson/Rick Salomon, Liza Minelli/David Gest and Star Jones/Al Reynolds have in common? They were all in marriages no one ever expected to last.

According to the National Enquirer, and Al Reynolds are the latest pair heading to splitsville. The former View host and her banker hubby were married back in November 2004 in an over-the-top wedding that attracted many sponsors and much ridicule.

Now, just over a month after the 37-year-old’s 45-year-old’s latest television project was cancelled, comes news of a possible divorce.  While I am often wary of news that comes from this particular tabloid, I must admit it’s been a while since I’ve seen Al attached to his wife’s arm.  I mean - where was the old Al who would come out and speak on his wife’s behalf when she’s booted off TV?

Dr. Phil on Britney Spears

So after weeks of talking about how he regretted talking about Britney, found himself in a unique position today: talking about on .  Did you get that?

The psychologist had already booked the daytime gig before Britney’s hospitalization earlier this morning.  But since the whole point purpose of his visit was to talk about the pop singer, he was fortunate enough to capitalize on today’s events.  Strangely enough, this was the least-confident Dr. Phil I can recall seeing.  Although he didn’t believing meeting Spears in the hospital was wrong, he was a little defensive - and not really at ease - during his conversation with the ladies.

“And all I’ve ever tried to do is help in this situation…and provide some help…and by that I don’t mean like sitting down and doing therapy with her because I don’t do that anymore.  I haven’t done that for a long, long time - don’t want to do it.  But I’ve always felt like…and had offered to the family to help…uh, get her into the hands of the right kinds of professionals that could provide medical support and psychological or psychiatric support.  And I don’t know the circumstances of how she’s wound up back in the hospital today but if it’s moving in that direction, then that could be a good thing.”

Britney’s ‘Mental Issues’ Being Treated

Sam Lufti/Britney Spears, the shady man who has somehow wormed his way into ’ life, made a point of calling this weekend to blab about his client.  The pop star’s ‘manager’ for some reason felt it was necessary to update the newswoman on Spear’s current status.  (Apparently ‘s tacky interviews on and haven’t told us enough.)

So with permission, Walters shared a portion of her conversation with Lufti on today’s episode of .  The veteran reporter - who was very careful in choosing her words - started off by saying that she “couldn’t vouch for the information”, but that he “seemed to be very knowledgeable” and “was very nice.”  She then revealed that Britney (according to Lufti) is suffering from “mental issues which are treatable.”  Spears has supposedly been to a psychiatrist and (Barbara assumes) is starting some kind of treatment.  Sam claims the singer has been having mood swings and difficulty sleeping.  And despite rumors to the contrary,  Brit’s mother () has apparently been in contact with her daughter and has offered words of support.
