Let’s face it, 2008 was a wild year for all the personalities from show business that we love (and despise.) We’ve published a bunch of news, rumors, and opinions here on VIP Breakdown over the past year, and we felt it would only be right to recap the top 20 most read articles for the entire year. So that is just what we’ve done, so you’ll find that below. Oh, and by the way, what the heck, y’all? We published an article at the end of 2008 about Robert Pattinson getting a hair cut, and it leapfrogged everything else we did for the entire year, becoming the most read, in a matter of a week? What gives? Anyhoo, here we go:

Lindsay Lohan Addresses Rumors About Her Sister’s Body

As Anderson Cooper pointed out last week, Lindsay Lohan has been fairly quiet when it comes to matters involving Living Lohan. But don’t start equating her silence to indifference. Even though she’s been focusing most of her attention on Samantha Ronson, Lindsay still has time to defend her little sister.
When rumors started spreading about Ali Lohan’s seemingly larger chest, Lindsay didn’t just pick up the phone and chew someone out Dina Lohan-style. No, she chose to air her complaints in a less confrontational matter. She eloquently ranted on MySpace!

Ali Lohan’s New Music Video

Earlier this month, we introduced you to Ali Lohan’s new single. Now we’re getting our first look at the video for ‘All the Way Around.’
While the video does a good job of making the reality star look far more wholesome than her bigger sister, I’m confused as why this was constructed with clips found on Living Lohan‘s editing floor. Seriously - if I wanted to see more Dina Lohan, I’d actually watch the show.
Ali Lohan’s Musical Debut

It’s no secret that Ali Lohan is trying to follow in big sister Lindsay’s footsteps - she’s already said as much in her interviews. Ali, 14, has recently debuted her first single “All the Way Around” (it can be found here on YouTube). Here’s the surprising part: it’s pretty good.
The somewhat repetitive song has a rhythmic R&B feel that’s somewhat different from Lindsay Lohan’s poppy sound, and Ali’s vocals sound very mature. Ali calls her soon-to-be-released album “more hip-hop. Kind of like Rihanna.” If this first single is any indication of Ali’s sound, I think the album could be pretty good. All the way around.

Lindsay Lohan’s Secret Sister

Finally, something that might make Living Lohan interesting.
According to OK! Magazine, Michael Lohan - Lindsay and Ali’s dad - has admitted to fathering another girl. His third daughter was conceived while he was still married to Dina Lohan, though the two were supposedly separated at the time. That love child is now 13-years-old.
In a statement to the publication, Michael said he initially didn’t know about the pregnancy. “Years later [the woman] contacted me, convincing me that I was the only person she was with and that she had my child.”

Miley Cyrus Starts Dating Older Backup Dancer

Fifteen year-old super star Miley Cyrus has again forged down her road to becoming the next Britney Spears, and quite frankly, it’s a lot sooner than any of us could have guessed. Just as Britney hooked up with (eventually marrying) her backup dancer, Kevin Federline, little Miley has already taken to her own backup dancer, Marshall.
Miley has one-upped her predecessor by dating a backup dancer who is seven years her senior! Keep in mind, too, that she still has to endure three more years until she’s legal.
Although the Hannah Montana star’s rep has not commented upon the matter, the couple’s P.D.A. caught on tape provide us more than enough confirmation.

Listen up, frazzled moms. Don’t worry too much about steering your children in the wrong direction. Even if you do—someone out there will still think you’re a great mother.
Take Dina Lohan for instance. Even though the show mom has seen one daughter fall off the wagon (and out of her clothes) and the other child aspiring to emulate her big sis, she’s set to be labeled a “Top Mom” at a charity event tonight.

Mama Lohan: I Had No Choice

Did someone at E! have Dina Lohan at gunpoint? Nah, that’s just her being her usual fame-hungry, greedy self.
Unfortunately, I just had more to add to this upcoming debacle in addition to her soon-to-be-reality-star daughter’s ridiculous age. According to PageSix.com, the former Rockette and mother of four told them that they had “no choice” but to do the reality show. “Tabloids and reality shows are not going away. If they know who Ali is as a person, it’s better.”
Good news for those that are actually fans of that other Lohan. Dina revealed that her redheaded daughter will be making cameos on the show, but it will definitely be all about Ali: “Lindsay has her own career. It’s about Ali.”

Ali Lohan: She’s Supposed to Be 14

Over the past few weeks, I have become increasingly disturbed by the news I’ve been reading about Miss Lohan. No, not Lindsay Lohan—Ali Lohan. Let me tell you why:
First of all, the girl-who-used-to-be-very-cute recently said that she admired her older sister and wanted to be just like her. (I don’t think I even need to explain why that statement is so wrong.)
Secondly, the teen who’s supposed to be fourteen has physically aged beyond her years. (And not in a good way.)
And finally, Ali’s wardrobe decisions have been seriously questionable.
In the picture above, you can see how sweet the younger Lohan looked at a premiere for 2006’s A Prairie Home Companion. (Keep in mind - that was only two years ago). After the jump, you can see what she looks like now…
