Tatum O’Neal Arrested for Purchasing Crack

Seeing as there has been a major shortage of celebrity breakdowns and arrests lately, who comes in to save the day? None other than Tatum O’Neal!

The Rescue Me star was arrested last night for purchasing crack and cocaine not too far from her New York City home. NYPD spokesman Mike Wysokowski divulged that the former child actress was caught by policemen doing a “routine drug sweep,” when they witnessed O’Neal giving money to her dealer.

O’Neal, who had supposedly broken free of her illicit drug-using past, initially told police that she “was doing research for a part.”

CSI’s Gary Dourdan Arrested for Drugs

Just a few weeks ago, TV Envy reported that Gary Dourdan would be leaving his post at CSI.  At the time, it appeared the actor who had played Warrick Brown since 2000 had made the decision to leave on his own.  But did he really?

Since that initial story, TV Guide hinted that Gary’s departure may have been prompted by studio execs.  Why?  Possibly because of an “ongoing problem personal to Dourdan.”

Aaron Carter Arrested

The guy once linked to both Hillary Duff and Lindsay Lohan now has something in common with the latter:  he’s been arrested.

Aaron Carter, Nick’s younger bro, was detained early this afternoon for speeding in Kimble County, Texas.  After the pop singer (I believe he’s a singer - though I couldn’t name anything he’s sung to save my life) was pulled over, deputies discovered marijuana inside his vehicle.  According to TMZ, the 20-year-old had at least 2 ounces in his possession.  Smart.

Carter is currently being held in Junction City while he awaits his first court appearance on Friday.

Another Hilton Checks Into Jail

UPDATE: Barron’s bail was later increased to $20,000 because he was apparently carrying a fake driver’s license.  Idiot.

Barron Hilton, younger brother to Paris and Nicky, continued the process of dragging the family name through the mud this morning by getting arrested in Malibu for DUI.

Per PageSix.com, Hilton 18, was arrested at 8:04 am after he allegedly careened into a 76 gas station and struck a gas station attendant in the process. The attendant was not injured but insisted on calling the police anyway.

“I was knocked to the ground,” Fernando Tellez told PageSix.  “The Mercedes lost control as it was turning into the gas station and Barron got out of the car and he was totally drunk and couldn’t walk straight.”

When the police arrived, they tested his blood alcohol level (which he failed miserably).  He scored a 0.14 on his breath test for blood alcohol — that’s almost double the adult limit of 0.08 in California. An eyewitness at the scene claims that Barron was so drunk he couldn’t speak.

Barron was then led away to jail where he now resides waiting for his bail to be posted-a paltry $5,000.

Gosh,  those crazy Hilton kids—you just never know where they’re gonna get arrested next!
