Taylor Swift Chooses Scented Candles, Diary Over Dating

Taylor Swift on the cover of InStyleWhile she sparkles on the 3D cover of December’s InStyle issue, Taylor Swift squashes some dating rumors on the inside pages.

“I’ve never thought it was a curse to be single, and at this point in my life, I’m in the mind-set where I choose to be single—like I got to light scented candles and write in my diary and I wouldn’t have time for that if I had a boyfriend right now!” the multiple CMA winner said.

Throwing us off her and Taylor Lautner’s scent, eh? Well, considering all the evidence surrounding their clandestine relationship, it’s going to take more than an interview (most likely taken some time ago) to deter the rumors.

As she boasts about loving the single life, Swift didn’t hesitate to gush about working with Lautner: “He and I have gotten really close. It would be confusing on the set with two Taylors in the same scene. They were like, ‘Taylor, on your mark—no, not you, the other one!’ So halfway through the shoot, I said, ‘How about you guys call me Swifty and call him Taylor?’”

Lindsay and Samantha are spotted with matching tats!Samantha Ronson and “best friend” Lindsay Lohan were seen arriving at LAX with matching tattoos last Wednesday. While some may see this as innocent and very BFF-like, I hope that the party-hopping pair haven’t forgotten that we haven’t forgotten about what happened on Diddy’s yacht last May.

Either way, the cute couple were spotted with identical black hearts on their left hands. No pictures just yet, but photographers did note that the heart was originally a white heart tattoo of Lindsay’s that she recently got outlined in black—Samantha merely had an identical one inked in the same spot altogether. They also noticed that Lindsay added a red star to her hand to mirror those on Ronson’s arm.

Why don’t these two go public already! Just make it official and we’ll all be happy! Who knows, perhaps even the paparazzi will stop tailing you once they’ve finally received an answer to their burning question.

According to an unnamed source, Olsen recently spent some time in Greece with Justin Bartha, 29. Who’s that? You might recognize him as the very cute sidekick in the movies - he’s the good-looking smart guy who sets Nicolas Cage up to look like a hero. Bartha was formerly linked romantically to heiress Lydia Hearst.

Amanda Bynes: Friendly With Foxy Guy?

FOX threw a party last night that was filled with flashy celebs and plenty of picture-takers. Some cameras snapped photos of (you might recognize her from Hairspray, What a Girl Wants and a ton of other teen-friendly flicks) close at the side of Seth McFarlane. Is this a new couple in the making?

Bynes, 22, was with McFarlane most of the evening and then left with him to go to another party, according to sources. Seth McFarlane is the mind behind popular FOX series . He is 34 to Amanda’s 22, making theirs hardly a May-December romance. At best, it’s May-October.

But according to the actress’s rep, the pair are “just friends.” When asked about the obvious coziness between the two, the rep responded “it’s the first I’ve heard of it.” Bynes did work as voice talent for a previous episode of Family Guy.

Philippe and his new girl, Abbie Cornish, appeared together at a 2008 Australian in Film Breakthrough Awards, making it quite clear to everyone that they were indeed an item. “They were adorable,” a guest recalls. “He had his arm around her and they were cozy and comfortable.”

The actress from down under was honored for a Breakthrough Award for her performance in the ‘s military drama.
