John Mayer Offers Advice to Tween Artists

We all knew that John Mayer was fairly obsessed with Twitter—this is the guy who told us that his penis fell asleep. Who knew that he’d let this obsession get to his head so much that he feels the need to offer advice to everyone?

Seeming to have gained insight into the mind of a 16 year-old icon due to his affinity for Twitter, Mayer commented on Miley Cyrus’s departure from the social networking site: “She’s smart enough to realize there is some interference of the brain that she doesn’t want to deal with… I think if you’re in Miley’s situation, it might take a little too much time to play goalie for your own heart and mind.”

Just days learning about the love Miley Cyrus and Nick used to share, Kevin Jonas wore a very telling shirt outside of the band’s New York City hotel.

I mean - if one were to wear a “Team Demi and Selena” tee, that would mean that they were endorsing a side, right?

Cyrus Mocks Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato

Thank goodness I wrote that tween primer the other day. Otherwise, I’d probably have no clue who half these girls were.

When I mentioned that Selena Gomez was now linked to Nick Jonas, I forgot to mention one minor detail: Nick Jonas was previously linked to Miley Cyrus. That last piece of information is important because it’s believed to be the reason behind Miley’s recent YouTube parody.

In the following clip, you will see a video made by Selena Gomez and friend Demi Lovato. You will also see Miley and her friend, Mandy, doing their best impressions of the two girls. Do you think Hannah Montana was being funny…or was she simply acting nasty?

Omigawd - I can’t get all these tweens straight. I swear it took me months to figure out that Miley Cyrus was the same person as Hannah Montana. Now I’m having to sort out the difference between three other rising stars.

Repeat after me: Demi Lovato is the chick who just starred with the Jonas Brothers on Camp Rock, Miranda Cosgrove is the star of Nickelodeon’s iCarly and Selena Gomez is on the Disney series Wizards of Waverly Place. (I have not watched any of these programs.)
