Co-Star Had No Idea About Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin

So maybe True Blood‘s Ryan Kwanten not having a clue about co-stars Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin’s relationship wasn’t necessarily his fault. Turns out their other co-star, Sam Trammell, had not a clue, either!

In a post-Emmy party, Trammell, who plays the shapeshifter Sam Merlotte on the hit vampire show, revealed that he didn’t see it coming: “I think they’re both just really independent, really talented people, and they just kind of fit together… They’re so professional, I had no idea they were together at first. And then I had no idea he’d proposed to her.”

Don’t count on fiction meshing with reality here—Sam, whose character is in love with Anna’s Sookie despite her relationship with vampire Bill (Moyer), has nothing but good wishes for the newly-engaged: “They’ve been together a long time, and it’s working out. I’m happy for them.”

Before yesterday’s Emmys broadcast, Stephen Moyer told E!‘s Giuliana Rancic what made his soon-to-be wife so special to him. “She doesn’t take any of my nonsense. She is very funny, and very frank, and very direct…and beautiful,” he explained.

A recent paparazzi photo of Tyra Banks shows the model sporting a rock so big it should be in a cocktail. She was enjoying a Saturday lunch with boyfriend John Utendahl, wearing a previously-unseen ring on her left ring finger.

The gem could just be a ringer, but it could be the real thing. She’ll probably wait to spring the news on her show.

Engagement for John Krasinski and Emily Blunt

Wedding bells will soon ring on and off the camera for John Krasinski.

The Office star, who has been engaged to Dunder Mifflin’s Pam Beesly on the program, is now planning to marry Emily Blunt in real life. Krasinski has been dating The Devil Wears Prada actress since November 2008, not longer after Emily broke up with longtime beau Michael Bublé.

Krasinski was previously linked to Rashida Jones, the actress who played Karen on his NBC show.

Incidentally, Blunt also has a connection to one of John’s co-workers. She played the role of Ruthie Draper in Steve Carell‘s Dan in Real Life.

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer Announce Engagement

Much like their characters on HBO’s hit vampire drama, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are moving quickly with their relationship. The couple made their relationship official in February and have now announced their engagement less than half a year later—too soon or true love?

One thing’s for sure—the True Blood co-stars don’t have to work too hard when it comes to all of the torrid love scenes on the show: “Obviously, if you’re already with that person then you’re not having to sort of get over the ‘Wow, I’m naked with someone that I don’t even know the middle name of!’” Paquin said.

While it is indisputable that the couple are absolutely adorable together, I’m still wishing this happened with Sarah Michelle Gellar and David Boreanaz!

Kevin Jonas Proposes to Danielle Deleasa

Sorry, ladies. There’s one less Jonas Brother to choose from now.

Earlier today, Kevin Jonas, the oldest of the trio, officially became a groom-to-be. After a long flight to New Jersey from Vancouver, BC (where he was on stage), the musician proposed to his girlfriend - on bended knee! - this morning.

“It was tough performing last night, knowing that I was going to ask the biggest question in my life to the most amazing girl in the world,” the 22-year-old told People magazine. Fortunately, he received an enthusiastic response. “She said yes, yes, yes like 500 times super fast in a row,” Jonas said.

Kevin and Danielle Deleasa, 22, met while vacationing in the Bahamas. They’ve been together for over two years now.

Bachelor’s Melissa Rycroft Now Engaged

Melissa Rycroft‘s comeback tour is now nearly complete.

Almost four months after being humiliated by Jason Mesnick on The Bachelor, GMA‘s newest correspondent has been given a new reason to cheer. The 26-year-old and boyfriend Tye Strickland are now engaged.

Although the two had dated off and on for several years, Rycroft had said “the timing was never right.” Tye’s support for her after the highly-publicized split helped bring the two back together.

No wedding date has been set for the pair.

These days, pictures of the singer with her new reported boyfriend, agent Jason Trawick, are not exactly unusual. But a picture of the singer with a nice ring on her left hand? Priceless.

In these photos taken earlier this week in Los Angeles, Spears does not attempt to the hide that piece of bling (or her white bra). Should we be reading anything more into this? Or should we be hoping it isn’t real?

Wedding News: David Letterman, Bruce Willis, Harrison Ford

David Letterman: While Jay Leno was chatting with President Obama, Letterman was busy making news of his own. Last Thursday, the 61-year-old got married.

The late night host and his longtime girlfriend, 48-year-old Regina Lasko, were wed in a small ceremony in Choteau, Montana. Their 5-year-old son, Harry, was in attendance. The nuptial news will be announced during tonight’s taping of his program.
