Celine Dion: When it comes to “Taking Chances,” Dion practices what she preaches. The singer, whose struggles with pregnancy are well known, is carrying twins! The happy news came after Celine’s sixth attempt with in-vitro fertilization (coupled with acupuncture treatments). The 42-year-old is currently 14 weeks along and will be finding out the genders next month. She and her husband, 68-year-old René Angelil, are also parents to 9-year-old Rene-Charles.

Celebrity Chatter: Engagement for Nick Swisher, Another Wedding for J.Lo

-Actress Joanna Garcia has caught herself a New York Yankee. The Privileged star is now engaged to baseball player Nick Swisher.
-Speaking of weddings, that’s exactly what CW’s Jensen Ackles and Danneel Harris had on May 16. The Supernatural actor and One Tree Hill actress had been dating for three years.
-Marriage isn’t in the near future for singer Crystal Bowersox. The American Idol contestant and boyfriend Tony Kusian broke up hours before the season finale.
-The relationship may also be over for Common and Serena Williams. The musician/actor and tennis star were supposedly just too busy for each other.
-The love is still strong for Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. The two plan to renew their vows - again - on June 5.
Jude Law Just Might Propose to Sienna Miller

First Russell proposed to Katy—now this?
Notorious playboy Jude Law has hinted he is set to propose to Sienna Miller. The Sherlock Holmes actor rekindled his romance with his ex-fiancee late last year - after they split in 2006 following revelations he had cheated on her with his children’s nanny - and while he is yet the pop the question again he admits he could do soon. When asked if they were engaged, Jude smiled and replied, “Not at the moment. Not at the moment. That’s all I can say.”
Jude - who has three children from his marriage to Sadie Frost and a seven-month-old daughter with American model Samantha Burke - also spoke of his joy at being back with Sienna. He told Access Hollywood, “I’m very happy. I’m very happy to be happy.”
Earlier this year, it was claimed Jude was going to propose to Sienna after realizing she was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. A source said, “Sienna was always ‘the one.’ And now she is back in his life he never wants to let her go again. Jude did some serious thinking over Christmas in Britain with his ex-wife Sadie and the kids. And he realizes just how important family life is to him. He needs a good woman to look after him. Sienna’s fed up of the single life and wants to be with Jude for good.”
Engaged Kelly Osbourne Not Allowed to Marry

Although she has a fiance, Kelly Osbourne won’t be tying the knot in the near future.
In an interview with Barbara Walters on her Here’s Barbara Sirius XM radio show, Kelly - who got engaged to model Luke Worrall in early 2009 - said: “I have no intentions of getting married anytime soon, and neither does he… I don’t want to be married until I’m 30. My mom won’t let me get married anyway.”
Surprisingly, the 25-year-old even suggested their relationship may not end in a wedding, despite their strong feelings for one another. “Only the future will tell. Only time will tell. We don’t actually live as an engaged couple,” she added.
Kelly also admitted she accepted Luke’s proposal because she didn’t want to spoil their relationship by saying no when he popped the question. “I said ‘yes’ just to say ‘yes,’ and that’s the truth… to tell him no I felt would ruin our relationship. Then, after the first year, I started to realize, maybe I really do want to marry,” Osbourne explained.
Sharon Osbourne previously said she thinks her daughter is too young to be engaged. “They’re both very young. But I get it if you want to make a commitment to somebody. Luke’s a nice boy. He’s a harmless, nice boy,” she stated.

-Mad Men‘s Christina Hendricks has just been voted “America’s Best-Looking Woman” by readers of Esquire. Maybe she should have been the one hosting Saturday Night Live.
-Harold & Kumar‘s Kal Penn was reportedly robbed at gunpoint early Tuesday morning. The incident happened in Washington, D.C., where Penn has been working in the White House as an associate director in the Office of Public Engagement.
-Congratulations are in order for Christina Applegate. The Samantha Who? star is now engaged to musician Martyn LeNoble. Applegate was previously married to Johnathon Schaech.
-Long-time partners Melissa and Tammy Etheridge have decided to separate. The parents of 3-year-old twins had been together for almost nine years.
Alias Star Michael Vartan Engaged

Some people purchase food at the grocery store, others pick up their future wives.
It’s just been announced that actor Michael Vartan is now officially off the market. The 41-year-old became engaged to a woman he met last year at a Whole Foods parking lot in Los Angeles.
The former Alias star proposed to 25-year-old Lauren Skaar two weeks ago. According to Michael’s rep, the two intend to get married next year.
Vartan can currently be seen on TNT’s Hawthorne. That series is scheduled to return sometime this summer.

Week after week, Simon Cowell is the one making frightened American Idol contestants squirm under a glaring spotlight. But last night, it was his turn.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show, the famous bachelor was grilled about his rumored engagement to Mezhgan Hussainy. Although the 50-year-old is usually known for his bluntness, it was what he didn’t say that was quite telling.
“Are they true? Well, I do have somebody in my life now, Jay, yes. And I kind of made a decision this year to make somebody happy. ... It’s called giving back,” Cowell said when asked about the reports. “I always said if I was going to get engaged, I’d get engaged to a makeup artist,” he added.

Well - is he or isn’t he?
If you believe the latest reports, George Clooney may just be the last eternal bachelor standing. After weeks of rumors, multiple sources are now claiming that Simon Cowell is indeed engaged to girlfriend Mezhgan Hussainy.
Although the two have only been photographed together recently, Simon and Mezhgan (pronounced “mish-gone,” according to her website) have reportedly been dating for about six months now. Cowell and the 36-year-old first met years ago when she did makeup work on American Idol. (In other words, they knew each other when he was still dating longtime girlfriend Terri Seymour.)

Carrie Underwood Wants Small Wedding

American Idol alum Carrie Underwood doesn’t think she’ll be able to have a small wedding.
The country singer - who recently announced her engagement to ice hockey player Mike Fisher - has already started a scrapbook of ideas for her big day but expects most of the planning will be taken out of her hands.
“I started tearing out pictures and stuff. I think I want a small wedding, but I don’t think that’s going to happen.”
While friends of the couple are overjoyed by the news of their engagement, many pals claim the wedding plans took even Carrie and Mike - who have been dating since March 2008 - by surprise. One pal said, “It came as a surprise to both of them. They knew they were attracted to each other, but then the relationship just happened overnight - faster than either expected.”
Carrie recently revealed she and Mike are struggling to set a date for their nuptials: “Our schedules don’t provide us too much time to get married and have time to really enjoy being married. We’re trying to really work it out and move some stuff around.”
Carmen Electra in No Rush to Tie the Knot

Although she’s been engaged to Otep rocker Rob Patterson for almost two years now, Carmen Electra is no rush to get married.
“We’re happy the way things are. We’re not really putting that added, extra pressure on the relationship,” the former Baywatch star said.
Electra does say that her wedding with the musician could happen any day. “It’s possible. If we decide that, then we will get married, but we’re just happy being together,” the 37-year-old added.
Carmen has been married twice before. She tied the knot in Las Vegas with controversial basketball star Dennis Rodman in 1998 before splitting soon after. In November 2003, she wed Jane’s Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro, but they divorced in February 2007.
