George W. Bush Decides to Write a Memoir
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Where Are They Now?
George W. Bush, the forty-third president of the United States of America, will put his thoughts to paper in a new memoir. The working title of the book is Decision Points, and the AP is reporting that it should be ready for publication sometime next year.
“I want people to understand the environment in which I was making decisions,” W. said over the phone to Associated Press reporters. “I want people to get a sense of how decisions were made, and I want people to understand the options that were placed before me.”
Bush famously coined the phrase “The Decider,” a title which he gave himself in defense of his War on Terror. Evidently, the book will explain to the public just what being The Decider means - in Bush’s mind, anyway. The memoir will explore a wide range of decisions, including his vice president selection of Dick Chaney.
No financial details on the book have been released.

Former president George W. Bush was greeted in Texas on Tuesday by a party of his own. Well, maybe it wasn’t exactly a party - but it was definitely a large gathering of people.
As he was cheered by joyous onlookers, Bush announced to the crowd, “the presidency was a joyous experience, but as great as it was, nothing compares with Texas at sunset.” Not even vetoing bills?
Approximately 25,000 gathered to welcome he and Laura Bush back home. “Tonight, I have the privilege of saying six words that I have been waiting to say for a while: it is good to be home,” Bush cried.

George W. Bush’s Last Presidential Turkey Day Act?
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Photos, Features

With appropriate pomp and circumstance, still-the-President George W. Bush let two happy birds off the dinner table hook just in time for Thursday’s feast.
“Pumpkin and Pecan are hereby granted a full and unconditional president pardon,” Bush announced Wednesday, much to the relief of the two plump birds. “In recent weeks, I’ve talked about sprinting to the finish,” W. smiled at the cameras. “Yet, I’ve assured these turkeys they will not be trotting to their finish.”

Politicians are not celebrities. Celebrities are not politicians. ...Or, are they? The fur is really starting to fly in the election. Presidential candidate John McCain has likened Barack Obama to Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. Rappers who support Obama have released tracks dissing John McCain. What happens when politics and celebrity mix? Nothing good.
In one of his political ads, McCain seems to be trying to undermine Obama as a presidential contender - calling him a star instead of the vehicle of change Obama claims to be. It isn’t odd for politicians to use celebrities to further their own cause, and it isn’t even odd for celebrities to decide to become politicians.
So maybe it’s even the norm for celebrities and politics to mix…but should they? Sometimes, celebs can do much more harm than good when they back a certain candidate.
