UPDATE: Christopher Schwarzenegger is expected to make a full recovery.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver's son is in intensive care. Christopher Schwarzenegger, 13 - the youngest son of the estranged couple - was injured while boogie boarding in Malibu, California on Sunday, suffering a collapsed lung and multiple broken bones, according to TMZ.
Maria was with her son when the incident occurred and has been keeping a vigil over him while he is being treated. "Christopher has been in ICU since Sunday. Maria has not left his side and is sleeping at hospital," a source said.
Actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers was hospitalized after a suspected suicide attempt on Tuesday.
The Tudors star - who has been in rehab five times for alcohol problems - refused treatment by paramedics for more than 30 minutes, meaning they were forced to call police and he was eventually taken away by ambulance to a facility near his home in Maida Vale, north London.
"This is very sad. It was the opinion of those present that he tried to take his life," a source said.
Worried neighbors saw the 33-year-old actor - who was believed to have overdosed on unspecified pills - rushed to hospital. "I saw the ambulance arriving and was worried to death. Jonathan is a lovely guy. You see him all the time in the street. He says hello and is very pleasant. I hope he is fine," one onlooker said.

Viewers of American Idol’s Thursday results show found that the Top 13 was curiously whittled down to 12 for the entire broadcast -- Casey Abrams is back in the hospital.
The singer nearly missed his shot at Idol stardom on February 24, when he was rushed to the hospital following a rehearsal. At that time, show insiders stated that if Abrams could not pull himself together before his scheduled performance, he would not stay in the competition.
But Abrams didn’t dodge this new bullet. FOX has had almost nothing to offer on Casey’s status, health-wise or show-wise, but we do know he received a blood transfusion during his first hospital stay.

Zsa Zsa Gabor is to have part of her leg amputated.
The 93-year-old actress was taken to hospital yesterday to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles to undergo surgery as gangrene was setting in to her right limb.
"She developed a lesion on the leg that had swollen a while back and caused her to go to the hospital for treatment, but it has not responded. In fact, it has increased in size, and the doctors have wanted to operate for several days. They're going to have to amputate part of her leg. They said if they didn't, she could lose her life," said her representative John Blanchette.
Although she had been warned to go to hospital earlier, Zsa Zsa had been keen to spend the Christmas and New Year period with her husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt.
"Frederic and Zsa Zsa asked if they could spend New Year's at home, and they shared champagne and caviar. The doctors came to the house today, and when they unwrapped the bandages, they saw that the wound had festered and they were afraid of gangrene developing, which would be life-threatening," Blanchette said yesterday.
A rep for Lily Allen confirmed recently that the British singer lost her unborn baby last Saturday.
"It is with great sadness that we have to confirm that Lily Allen and Sam Cooper have lost their baby. The couple ask that their privacy be respected and that they be left alone at this deeply distressing time. No further comment will be made."
While cancelling her performance at Elton John's fundraising event seemed unusual, no one suspected much until the singer posted, "Say a little prayer," on her Twitter early Saturday morning. It was later revealed that she was rushed to the hospital for stomach pains on Thursday afternoon and kept there for observation. Just hours after she wrote on the microblogging site, she lost her unborn son.
The tragedy comes nearly three years after she had miscarried her first child with then-boyfriend, musician Ed Simons.

Randy Jackson has been hospitalized with a suspected mild heart attack.
The 48-year-old singer - who is the brother of the late Michael Jackson - was taken to the Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena yesterday and is said to be awaiting test results.
“It appears Randy has had a mild heart attack but he is OK. He was joking around with his father and he is feeling pretty good all things considered. He’s been under a tremendous amount of stress lately but Randy’s a fighter. He’ll pull through,” a source said.
Randy is believed to have been working on arrangements for a memorial service for his late brother Michael, who died of acute Propofol intoxication in June last year. On Monday, Randy attended a Los Angeles courthouse with family including sister Janet Jackson for a hearing into the involuntary manslaughter case against Dr. Conrad Murray, the man accused of being involved in the icon’s death.
The star has also been playing a key role in arranging plans to allow fans to enter Forest Lawn Memorial Park - where Michael is buried - to pay tribute to the King of Pop on the anniversary of his death later this month.
Less than two weeks after being admitted into the hospital for a brain hemorrhage, doctors say Bret Michaels is on his way to a making full recovery.
At a press conference today from the Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, Dr. Joseph Zabramski said the 47-year-old singer has been released from their care. He could not disclose where Michaels is at this time.
“Mr. Michaels was indeed a lucky person, a very lucky person,” Zambramski stated. “He’s improving and I expect him to continue to improve,” he added. “I really expect that he will fortunately make a 100% recovery. He’s just one of those lucky people – 10 to 20% who make a complete recovery and can resume all of their normal activities.”
