Surrounded by the paps as she ambled down the sidewalk on what was obviously a slow celebrity day, American Idol runner-up Katharine McPhee gamely kept her cool as she was hounded by pushy press and bright, flashing bulbs. She seemed fine if a little frazzled in the middle of the media crush, but she was all on her own until a single heroine stepped forth.

Randy Jackson Gives Katharine McPhee a Second Chance

Buxom Idol contestant Katharine McPhee was dropped from her record label, but apparently reality roots run deep. Judge Randy Jackson will help McPhee get back in the limelight with a new track on his album, where she’ll be paired with fellow Idol alum Elliott Yamin.
Okay, so I’ve heard the song…and it’s crap. Repetitive, boring, and throughout one can hear McPhee making strange, nonsensical noises. It’s called “Real Love,” one of the most uninspired titles I’ve heard, and the audio is currently making the rounds on the Internet. I warn you - don’t listen.
