Romance Over for David Cook and Kimberly Caldwell

Looks like David Cook will need to find someone new to keep the light on for him.
According to a rep for Kimberly Caldwell, the two former American Idol contestants are no longer making music together. The two had been dating since last summer, right after Cook asked the TV Guide host out before the reality show’s Season 7 finale.
Although the split happened “just before the holidays,” Cook, 26, was openly talking about Kim and his post-Idol life back in November. “I think she just gets that this is all nuts. She’s a nice break from the chaos,” David told People.
