Michael Jackson’s Death Likely a Homicide

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Child Stars, Rumors

Michael JacksonOfficials are now saying that the cause of death listed for Michael Jackson, King of Pop, will “almost certainly” be homicide. The LAPD has already been treating the investigation surrounding the singer’s death as a homicide for weeks, and recently some documents were in what could lead to manslaughter charges.

’s autopsy reports are expected to be released next week, once the full toxicology results are known.

Following a raid led by homicide detectives from the LAPD and multiple DEA agents in Houston, Dr. Conrad Murray has now been in the case. He is the physician who was with Jackson during the last hours of the pop star’s life. E-mails, computer hard drives and some medicines were seized from Conrad’s officers earlier in the week.

So You Think You Can Dance Choreographer Accused of Rape

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Television, Legal Issues

Alex Da SilvaUPDATE: Prosecutors have not yet filed any charges. Da Silva will be released while the investigation continues.

This FOX scandal might just top anything ever connected to American Idol.

Over the weekend, choreographer Alex Da Silva was taken in by police on suspicion of sexual assault. The arrest stemmed from alleged incidents involving four different women.

Although the 41-year-old salsa dancer had been previously accused of sexual assault in 2003, 2004 and 2005, charges were never filed by the prosecutors office. After a new complaint on March 28, the LAPD went back and reinterviewed Alex’s previous accusers. Similar stories filed by all four women - all unknown to each other - led to Saturday’s arrest.

“The victims allege that he lured them to his homes in North Hollywood and Van Nuys,” a statement from the police department read. “He then used a ruse to get them into his bedroom, where he raped them.”

Lindsay Lohan Barks Back at LAPD’s Gay Remark

Lindsay Lohan fires back at LAPDAs celebrities like Eric Roberts, John Mayer, and Milo Ventimiglia pushed for a crack down on paparazzi laws earlier this week, LAPD Chief William Bratton shared his true feelings about the paparazzi to reporters:

“If you notice, since Britney started wearing clothes and behaving; Paris is out of town not bothering anybody anymore, thank God, and evidently, Lindsay Lohan has gone gay, we don’t seem to have much of an issue.”

Despite whether it’s true or not, Lindsay wasn’t too happy with the police chief’s remark, stating that “Police chiefs shouldn’t get involved in everyone else’s business when it comes to their personal life. It’s inappropriate.”

Surprisingly, I’d have to agree with her for once. At the same time, one can argue that she is one of the major contributing factors (along with Britney and Paris) in the rise of crazed paparazzi, yet Bratton, in my opinion, really had no right to say what he did as a police official.

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Legal Issues, Breaking News

Britney SpearsE! News is reporting that Britney Spears has been receiving letters and packages, allegedly of a threatening or dangerous nature, from one fan who may be a little too into the star. Britney Spears Hospitalized Again

Another day, another hospitalization.  Early Thursday morning, more drama unfolded outside ’ home.  (You can see the video, after the jump.)  And while the scene was strangely reminiscent of the January 4th incident, there were many things that made today’s events different.

Britney Spears

  • This was a planned event.  Britney’s new psychiatrist - the one referenced in his conversation with Barbara Walters - had apparently sensed this day would come.  Realizing it would take a bit of work to get her to the hospital through a throng of photographers, etc., she worked out details with the LAPD.  When the psychiatrist arrived at her home last night, she felt it was time to get her some help.  With one phone call, she set the escort plan in action.
  • Britney was a willing participant.  No locked bathroom doors this time around.  The singer - who reportedly hadn’t slept in three days - was very calm when police arrived.
  • Her mother was actually there.  Instead of hiding away in another state, was in Britney’s home at the time of her departure (as was Lufti and ).
  • Another day, a new place.  She was not taken to Cedars-Sinai this time.  Today she’s at UCLA Medical Center.
  • No K-Fed sighting.  Since already has the kids with him, there apparently wasn’t a need to be around.
  • It looks like she might stick around.  Although Brit never stayed the suggested 72-hours the last time she was hospitalized, it looks she might this time.
