Robsten Goes Noir For Harper’s Bazaar

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart on the cover of Harper's BazaarIn a sad but much needed effort to boost magazine sales, Harper’s Bazaar placed Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart on their December cover.

While their pose on the cover comes off rather awkward (where is her neck? why do his fingers don’t seem to want to touch her? why does she look like Ashley Greene?), the photos coinciding with their interviews (seen after the jump) seem too natural to be an act, piling more evidence to their questionable real-life romance.

Shot by Mark Seliger, the photo shoot is very noir-inspired—the goal was to make Kristen look “vampish and sexy.” The tomboy traded in her Converses and Rock & Republic frocks for a gorgeous Alexander McQueen gown, as well as Valentino and Yves St. Laurent pieces. While anything and everything looks good on Pattinson, he wears Dior Homme (in case you wanted to note that somewhere in your homemade shrine).

I’m beginning to think that the two stay tight-lipped about their relationship just so we crave these magazine features and interviews—would we really be that interested in all of this Twilight hoopla if we weren’t trying to figure out if they were together in real life?

Justin Timberlake: Most Stylish?

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Movies, Music, Clothing, Style

Justin TimberlakeI’ve always found singer/actor ’s fashion choices to be questionable at best, but GQ has a different opinion. Timberlake as been named the most stylish on the magazine’s list of “10 Most Stylish Men in America.”

Timberlake scored the honor thanks to his risky fashion and eye for trends (odd, because some of his hats were over in the 1940s). Other men on the list include Kanye West and T.I.

Old Hollywood Princess Dethrones Cruise

Lauren BacallTom Cruise

Lauren Bacall shimmied onscreen in the 1940s, gaining immediate attention for her glamorous look and throaty, sultry voice. She worked with Hollywood’s greatest stars and sexiest leading men. She even married infinite screen hunk Humphrey Bogart, inspiring the jealousy of many a movie going female. She is truly Old Hollywood royalty - and this matriarch isn’t too happy with at least one member of La La Land’s younger (than her) generation. More to the point, she’s got a big problem with .

“Tom Cruise is a maniac,” Bacall is quoted in a recent magazine article. “I can’t understand the way he conducts his life,” admits the former screen siren. Bacall also talks about Kidman’s split with Cruise, saying the actress was “unhappy” during filming for Dogville (2003).

“Tom had taken off for Penelope Cruz or some (expletive deleted) thing - one of his more ridiculous moves,” she recalls.

, always gracious, did not speak harshly of her ex in the article, talking mainly about her “profound” love with country crooner Keith Urban and her belief in the love between Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Good thing you believe it, Nicole, because a lot of the public thinks it’s full of hooey. Apparently, screen legend Lauren Bacall thinks it’s simply Tom Cruise who’s full of hooey.

Oprah, James FreyUnless you’ve recently come out of hibernation, you were aware of the issue between and James Frey a while back.  After Winfrey selected his book, A MIllion Little Pieces, for her book club in October 2005, the talk show host was blindsided by controversial news:  the ‘memoir’ was partially made up.

Although it’s been over two years since Frey received a very public scolding from Oprah on her show, it seems the mogul’s peeps have not learned their lesson.  While you would think they had a very large fact-checking operation going on - heaven forbid she be embarrassed again - they’ve let another supposed ‘memoir’ get past their sensors.
