Michael Jackson Kids Coping Differently

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Music, Meltdowns, Rumors

Blanket Jackson cries to sleep every nightMichael Jackson‘s son Prince Michael II cries himself to sleep every night.

The late pop star’s seven-year-old son, known as Blanket, is so distraught about his father’s death that he constantly asks where his “daddy” is and sobs in his bedroom.

A Jackson family friend said, “He cries himself to sleep and keeps asking where his daddy is. His aunt Rebbie spent the first few nights sleeping on a cot bed beside him because he was scared to sleep alone. He acts pretty wild during the day.”

Michael’s three children, 12-year-old son Prince Michael I, 11-year-old daughter Paris and Blanket, have been looked after by their legal guardian and grandmother Katherine Jackson since the “Thriller” singer’s passing.

While the youngest sibling is visibly emotional, Paris is reportedly coping with her grief in quieter ways: “Paris does a lot of reading and watercolor painting and hair-braiding with her cousins, who visit every day and she speaks regularly to a handful of friends on her mobile phone.”

But the eldest, Prince, has caused such concern by spending hours playing computer games—Katherine has had to put time restrictions on his internet sessions: “Katherine makes sure that internet access is monitored and time-limited around the house.”

Former Child Actor Claims He’s Father of Michael Jackson Heiress

Paris KatherineWe’ve actually seen something similar once before. Anyone remember the confusion surrounding the daughter of Anna Nicole Smith? ’s three kids are Dannielynn times six, because almost anybody could claim to be the mother or father of the three. While it’s an accepted fact that Debbie Rowe is the biological mom to the two oldest Jackson heirs, no one knows much about the third - and we know even less about the male DNA used to create the tots.

Or…do we? Former child actor and Jackson friend Mark Lester has stepped forward to say that he is the father of Paris Jackson, Michael’s sole daughter. Lester claims he was asked for sperm by Jackson in 1996. Lester says “it was a gift to him.” Further, Lester claims that Paris looks a great deal like his own daughter Harriet.

Tito Jackson Claims Michael’s Kids Are Chips Off the Biological Block

Michael Jackson as a child

“They are all his children,” Tito Jackson spoke to the Mirror recently on the subject of his deceased brother’s three children. For years, the public and the press have speculated that Prince, Paris and “Blanket” Jackson are not linked to by DNA. This would be mostly because the children have a distinct Caucasian look to them which would seem to belie any African-American blood.

“Blanket is Michael’s, I can tell,” Tito continued in his interview. “Those eyes don’t lie. Them eyes are Michael over again. I see a lot of Michael in him.” He added, “Paris and Prince are Michael’s children. Yes they are. Just because they look white doesn’t mean they are not his.”

Jackson added, “I have an uncle who is married to a white girl and they have three kids. Two of them are white and one is black.”

Jackson Custody Hearing Will See Another Day in Court

Paris Michael and Prince Michael Jackson

The custody hearing for ’s three children has been pushed back again. The event has now been moved to July 20 so that biological mom Debbie Rowe and grandmother Katherine Jackson can continue to battle…sorry, talk it out. In the meantime, Jackson will continue to serve as the guardian for all three children per her son Michael’s last will and testament.

In a statement from Mrs. Jackson, attorney L. Londell Mitchell said he hopes both parties may “privately and amicably resolve this most important matter in a dignified manner, for the benefit of the children.”

Legalities and Mystery Shrouds Michael Jackson’s estate

At the height of his career in the late 80s, when he was doing commercials and worldwide tours for huge audiences, was truly the King of Pop. It was reported that the singer was worth around $2 billion US - not a bad little bit of change.

In the wake of Jackson’s death, however, it’s much harder to pin down a figure. As of right now, the size of Jackson’s estate remains largely unknown. It was reported recently that the singer still had around $350,000, while other sources estimated Jackson at closer to $800 million. Some reports even suggest that Jackson was actually in debt - one news organization says the amount could reach up to $500 million.

Who will inherit the burden or largesse, such as the case may be? This, too, remains a mystery. Early reports and court documents filed by parents Katherine and Joe Jackson suggested that Michael died intestate (without a will), but a lawyer has stepped forward to refute these claims.
