Michael Jackson At the request of the LAPD, the L.A. County Coroner’s office will delay the release of ’s autopsy report. The Coroner’s office met today with officials from the L.A. County D.A.’s office and LAPD officers. At the conclusion of the meeting, it was determined that further investigation is needed in the case.

It is believed that Michael Jackson’s death was due to the powerful drug propofol, allegedly administered to the King of Pop by . The physician’s personal home and offices have been raided by DEA and other law enforcement officials in the past week.

Michael Jackson Doctor’s Home Raided by DEA

Conrad MurrayFollowing last week’s in Houston, law enforcement officials from the LAPD and the DEA continued their raids on Dr. Conrad Murray. On Tuesday, officers entered the gated community of Red Rock Country Club with a warrant to search Murray’s Las Vegas home. Simultaneously, another group of officials did the same thing at Murray’s Vegas medical offices. Searches are expected to last for several hours.

Both searches began around 8:00 in the morning, and officers said they were “looking for a lot of things” in connection to the manslaughter case.

Jackson Family Meets with LAPD

Michael Jackson, there are still some questions surrounding the untimely death of recording legend Michael Jackson. TMZ is reporting that Katherine, Joe and “several brothers” met with police officers at the pop star’s home earlier today.

The site says that both sides wanted the meeting - the family to learn more about Jackson’s death, the police to gain information that might help them determine the cause of the crooner’s fatal cardiac arrest. This meeting ended the same day.

TMZ has also reported that Dr. Conrad Murray, Jackson’s physician, sent a letter to his patients less than two weeks ago. In the letter, the doctor informed them he would be leaving his medical practice. “I am deeply saddened to leave you at this point, but please know my absence is not permanent,” the letter reads.

ET has as he was being treated by paramedics - the last-known photograph taken of the singer during his life. Michael Jackson was 50 at the time of his death Thursday afternoon. The “King of Pop,” he enjoyed extreme success in the music industry, with a career that spanned four decades.

Michael Jackson Death causeMichael Jackson was pronounced dead at 2.26pm yesterday, it has been confirmed.

The 50-year-old musical legend - who is survived by three children, Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11 and seven-year-old Prince Michael II - suffered a suspected cardiac arrest at his home and was rushed to Los Angeles’ UCLA Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Michael’s manager Frank DiLeo said: “It’s a very sad day for all of us. It’s such a terrible shame. He was my friend. The kids are very upset, but they are fine.”
Michael’s mother Katherine is currently looking after the star’s three children.

An emergency 911 call was made from Michael Jackson’s home at 12.30pm, and Michael had no pulse when medics arrived on the scene. He was in a coma when he arrived at hospital. A hospital statement said: “His personal physician, who was with him at the time, attempted to resuscitate Jackson, as did paramedics who transferred him. A team of doctors including emergency physicians and cardiologists attempted to resuscitate for a period of more than one hour but were unsuccessful.”
