Debbie Rowe Plays She Said, They Said With the Press

It isn’t often that the New York Post makes a mistake, but when they do, they do it pretty big. The front-page banner ad printed by the paper today, claiming that Debbie Rowe will accept $4 million in exchange for dropping her custody claim, is inaccurate.
Not only inaccurate, it’s created a resulting media fire storm of lawyers, angry letters and additional headlines. If I didn’t know better, I’d say the false story was planted on purpose for just this reason…

Jackson Custody Hearing Will See Another Day in Court
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Celebrity Babies, Child Stars, Legal Issues, Rumors, Where Are They Now?

The custody hearing for Michael Jackson’s three children has been pushed back again. The event has now been moved to July 20 so that biological mom Debbie Rowe and grandmother Katherine Jackson can continue to battle…sorry, talk it out. In the meantime, Jackson will continue to serve as the guardian for all three children per her son Michael’s last will and testament.
In a statement from Mrs. Jackson, attorney L. Londell Mitchell said he hopes both parties may “privately and amicably resolve this most important matter in a dignified manner, for the benefit of the children.”

What Killed Michael Jackson?
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Photos, Rumors, Where Are They Now?

The heavily-publicized memorial service is over, the body has been buried and the press coverage of the star-studded event carries on. But aren’t we all forgetting something?
Like the fact that we still don’t have a real, definitive answer on what killed Michael Jackson in the first place? Jackson’s official death certificate says the cause of death is “deferred,” which means they simply haven’t figured it out yet.
“We have to keep some secrets,” Chief William J. Bratton of the LAPD played his cards close to vest when questioned on Tuesday. And though Jackson’s body has been released to the family following the official autopsy, not all of his organs have been given the same treatment.

Questionable Outfit of the Day: Corey Feldman as Michael Jackson
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: D-List, Movies, Television, Fashion Police, Style, Videos

Lost boy indeed…
There’s nothing Corey Feldman loves more than to celebrate his inner Michael Jackson, and today’s memorial gave him the unfortunate chance to do just that.
The day after Jackson’s death, the actor - who once had a close relationship with the singer - also wore an MJ-inspired outfit to a special taping of Larry King Live. (You can see a post-show interview with him after the jump.) Thankfully, he apparently had more than one ensemble to choose from.

Debbie Rowe Opts Out of Jackson Memorial
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Music, Meltdowns, Videos
Although she had previously intended to attend Michael Jackson’s memorial tomorrow, ex-wife Debbie Rowe has since changed her mind.
“The onslaught of media attention has made it clear her attendance would be an unnecessary distraction to an event that should focus exclusively on Michael’s legacy. Debbie will continue to celebrate Michael’s memory privately,” her attorney Marta Almli said in a statement.
Judging by Rowe’s reaction to the annoying paparazzi in the video above, that decision was probably for the best. Then again, a live butt-kicking would have been kind of interesting.

Debbie Rowe Makes a Play for Michael Jackson’s Kids
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Celebrity Babies, Child Stars, Legal Issues, Rumors
Debbie Rowe, surrogate mother to Michael Jackson’s two oldest children, is now bucking for custody of all three of the surviving Jackson tots.
Rowe carried and delivered Michael Joseph and Paris-Michael, impregnated with both via IVF (in vitro fertilization). She recently stepped forward to say she was not just the surrogate of the children but the biological mother of both. It’s still unclear whether or not Michael Jackson is the biological father of any of the three children to whom he was the primary caregiver. Rowe never had custody of the two children…but now, she wants it. Not just that, she’s bucking to get custody of the youngest Jackson child as well.

Michael Jackson’s Last Days Unmasked in New Book
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Child Stars, Rumors

“If you think you know everything there is to know about Michael Jackson, you’re wrong.” These were the words of Jennifer Bergstrom, vice president of Simon Spotlight Entertainment. This is the company that’s behind Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson.
The man hasn’t been buried yet, and already there’s a new book on the way. Bergstrom’s comments continue, “Startling new information…will make this book the definitive biography of the most iconic performer of our time.”
You see, the publishing industry can’t afford to waste any time - many more authors are no doubt writing furiously this very moment. Author Ian Halperin is behind this particular book, which is scheduled for publication in July. This is surely only the start of an industry cavalcade that will include many more volumes about the life and times of the King of Pop.
