Lindsay Lohan Wants Lady Gaga Collaboration

Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Music, Style, Rumors

Lindsay Lohan seeks a Lady Gaga collaborationWhen she’s not too busy partying or having her personal phone conversations recorded, Lindsay Lohan is tuning into Lady Gaga’s music!

The somewhat-working actress reveals on her Twitter page that she has been obsessed with Gaga’s Bad Romance video and expresses her interest desperation in collaborating with the popular artist.

“LADY GAGA IS F*)K!NG EP!C !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i want to do a mini movie music video with @ladygaga in la, nyc, and all over europe. @ladygaga OBSESSED WITH YOUR NEW VIDEO! you’ve just become epic in my book ** [sic]”

I’m not sure if becoming epic in Lohan’s book is a compliment or something to flat-out ignore. If anything, a collaboration with Lohan would be a major downgrade and regression (two words: Labor Pains).

Either way, I have a feeling that the Alexander McQueen-loving Gaga wouldn’t be one to instantly jump on to a collaboration with a fashion house wrecking creative advisor like Lohan.

(FYI - You can also follow VIP Breakdown on Twitter.)

Lady Gaga Hides From Paparazzi

Lady Gaga hiding from London paparazzi

As much as I adore Lady Gaga, I find it hard to believe that she would be hiding from the paparazzi. This is someone who lives in the spotlight, soaking up all the fame and attention she can acquire. So what gives as of late?

Was her makeup and attire too normal for her standard outings? She was snapped up in London this past week with little more than lingerie!

Perhaps she’s been exhausted over her new video, which she postponed a day due to her perfectionism. Whatever it is, let’s hope she gets well soon!

Watch Heidi Montag’s Latest Attempt at a Music Video

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Music, Television, Videos

Today, Heidi Montag used her personal website to share her latest project with us.

For her second music video, the reality star tries her best to impersonate an 80’s aerobics instructor. Unfortunately, she lacks the vocal coordination to be Olivia Newton-John and the physical coordination to be Jane Fonda.

The best part? The debut of “Overdosin’” experienced it’s share of technical glitches. The clip below loses sound at around at the 3:50 mark…but that, thankfully, spares us from having to listen to the full 10-minute clip.

And I thought her beach video looked cheap.

Scarlett Johansson the Singer?

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Movies, Music, Videos

While we’ve become used to seeing musicians evolve into Oscar-nominated thespians (e.g. , Queen Latifah), I can’t recall the last time an A-list actor has successfully made their mark in the music industry.  But does that mean they should stop trying?

On May 20th, will release her first album, Anywhere I Lay My Head.  Her first single, ‘Falling Down’, can be heard via her video below.  After listening to it, let us know what you think.  Should she stick to starring in Woody Allen films…or could she possibly have a side career in music?

Paula Abdul Dissed By MTV

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Videos, Breaking News

Paula Abdul had been mostly relegated to VH1 by the time I was old enough to start watching music videos, but I’ll never, ever forget the number she did with the rapping, cartoon alley cat. Talk about a horrible musical moment.

Abdul has recently made the attempt to resurrect her oh-so-yesterday musical career through collaboration with . The new music video for her single debuted on American Idol (and can be viewed by you after the jump), but according to reports it might not be seen anywhere else.

Heidi Montag’s Video Made Us - and Her - Cry

Heidi MontagLast week, we gave you the chance to check out ‘s new music video for her new single, Higher.  (You can view it again here.)

After the clip splashed across the internet, negative reviews about the cheap production, weak song and talentless performer came fast and furious.  Unfortunately, it was more than star was prepared to take.

In an interview with Us Magazine, Montag admitted to feeling crushed by the comments:

“I cried myself to sleep that first night after my video came out.  I just couldn’t understand why people I didn’t even know felt the need to be so cruel and hurtful toward me.”

Uhh, well you assaulted our eyes.  How about telling us why the piece of film looked like crap?

“We were at the beach and, literally, Spencer had his camera and a boom box in the trunk.  We did it in one take, maybe two, and it took us 20 minutes to film and cost us zero dollars.”

Boom box, nice.  Well that pathetic excuse only explains the visual quality, Heidi.  It doesn’t explain why you have absolutely no rhythm and lack the ability to lip synch.  Get back to us when you have an answer for that.

Watch Heidi Montag’s New Video

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Music, Television, Videos

On a recent episode of , told the late night host she’s been praying for her former friend, , on a daily basis.  Well after getting a whiff of her new video, I’m thinking star should really keep the good thoughts focused on herself.

Although her new single, Higher, doesn’t hit iTunes until Tuesday, I’d advise you to preview the song here first.  Just think of it as a dollar well saved.

From the whiny voice to the painfully-exaggerated facial expressions and awkward body movements—this clip has written all over it.  (If the video - shot by boyfriend - had been a full-length movie, it too would have gone straight-to-DVD.)

And what was up with those freaky jazz hands?
