Photographer Tyler Shields recently shot Heroes actress Hayden Panettiere in a sexed-up photo shoot containing machine guns and champagne (is she old enough for that yet?).
Okay, we really get it, Hayden—you’re hot! Do we really need the exhibitionist outfits and topless photos? I promise you that we realize you’re no longer that cute girl from Remember the Titans or Neutrogena commercials.

Sarah Palin Thinks Newsweek is Sexist

Newsweek’s most recent Sarah Palin cover shows a sexy former governor with long, bare legs - and Palin says it’s an “unfortunate” photo choice. She explains that the photo was originally taken for Runner’s World, an article that was “all about health and fitness” - a subject she says is “critically important to this nation.”
Newsweek re-used the photo with the headline “How Do You Solve a Problem like Sarah?” The one-time VP candidate spoke out against this choice via Facebook.
“When it comes to Sarah Palin, this ‘news’ magazine has relished focusing on the irrelevant rather than the relevant,” she wrote. “The out-of-context Newsweek approach is sexist and oh-so-expected by now. If anyone can learn anything from it: it shows why you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, gender or color of skin.” I assume this applies to Palin’s own book, Going Rogue, as well.

Suri Cruise Still Drinks From a Bottle

It looks as if parents Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise spoil their daughter Suri Cruise a little too much, allowing her to continue to drink from a bottle… despite the fact that she’s already 3 years-old. Here I thought that the heels were bad for the tot!
Snapped up by the paparazzi on the set of Katie’s new movie, The Romantics, little Suri doesn’t seem to mind drinking from the bottle; however, experts say that she should have been weaned from it years ago:
“She should have been weaned off the bottle by the time she was one year old… By the time kids are nine months old, they have the physical development and mouth coordination necessary to be able to drink out of a sippy cup or a cup with straw. That development comes pretty early,” said Dr. Jennifer Shu, a pediatrician and co-author of Food Fights.
With all of the money between the two actors, one would think that they could afford a how-to parenting book or two.

Robsten Goes Noir For Harper’s Bazaar
In a sad but much needed effort to boost magazine sales, Harper’s Bazaar placed Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart on their December cover.
While their pose on the cover comes off rather awkward (where is her neck? why do his fingers don’t seem to want to touch her? why does she look like Ashley Greene?), the photos coinciding with their interviews (seen after the jump) seem too natural to be an act, piling more evidence to their questionable real-life romance.
Shot by Mark Seliger, the photo shoot is very noir-inspired—the goal was to make Kristen look “vampish and sexy.” The tomboy traded in her Converses and Rock & Republic frocks for a gorgeous Alexander McQueen gown, as well as Valentino and Yves St. Laurent pieces. While anything and everything looks good on Pattinson, he wears Dior Homme (in case you wanted to note that somewhere in your homemade shrine).
I’m beginning to think that the two stay tight-lipped about their relationship just so we crave these magazine features and interviews—would we really be that interested in all of this Twilight hoopla if we weren’t trying to figure out if they were together in real life?

Speidi Dresses as Jon and Kate for Halloween

Love ‘em or hate ‘em, you’ve got to give it to them—Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag will most likely have one of the best Halloween costumes this year, dressing up as Jon and Kate Gosselin.
Complete with a handful of baby dolls, Spencer and Heidi are perfect as the troubled couple. It really shouldn’t come as any surprise, though—with all of the media attention the TLC reality stars get, Speidi was quick to soak it all up as they donned the costumes.
Check back soon, as I’m sure more interesting celebrity costumes will appear—rumor has it that Project Runway graduate Christian Siriano is going to be a Disney princess!

Taking some tips from her big sister, Miley Cyrus, Noah Cyrus stirred up controversy over her Halloween costume, prompting Disney Girl to prohibit the photos’ publication.
Attending Jamie Lee Curtis’s Dream Halloween this past weekend, 9 year-old Cyrus showed up in a tight-fitting mini dress with knee-high leather boots. To top that off, dark eye makeup and red lipstick were applied to her small face.
Disney Girl‘s editor, Fiona Wright, spoke about her decision to not print the photos:

Vampire Diaries Cast Arrested

The CW managed to keep these mug shots under wraps under after their new hit series, The Vampire Diaries, premiered - but only just. Hours after the show created a stir on the network, these photos magically made it to the Internet.
Nina Dobrev, Sara Canning, Candice Accola and Kayla Ewell, all stars of the show, were busted on August 22 along with Tyler Shields (who was taking photos) and Krystal Vayda, an actress who isn’t part of the show’s cast.

Miley Cyrus Tweets With Honesty

After nearly wanting to rip my ears off and eyes out from a few seconds in her closet, Miley Cyrus posted something on her Twitter that made me feel a bit better.
In conjunction with the picture above, Miley posted, “Just F.Y.I my legs DO NOT look like this in real life. That’s the magic of a computer my friends. Just thought I would be honest.” Glad to see some honesty these days.

Footage of Lindsay Lohan’s Burglars

Video footage of three suspected burglars who broke into Lindsay Lohan‘s Hollywood Hills home this past weekend has been released.
Rumors of sex tapes and/or photos have been bubbling ever since the reports of the break-in surfaced. Lindsay hasn’t helped in quelling the gossip with certain remarks on her Twitter: “...I know it was not a robbery. electronics weren’t taken… just things that a certain old friend knew meant a lot to me.”
