Shakira to Start Family After Album Release

She Wolf Shakira wants to have a baby.
The 32-year-old singer, who has been engaged to Antonio de la Rua, 36, for the last four years, admits that her biological clock is ticking and she’s desperate to start a family.
“I’m dying to have a baby. We both are. I’d like two and Antonio would like three. So probably after my next album, which comes out next year. I don’t think it could be sooner because in 2010 I’ll be touring as well. In fact, my biological clock is already ticking and I don’t know how to describe it. It’s just becoming a physical need now.”
The pop star, who met Antonio nine years ago in a restaurant in Argentina, knew straight away he was “The One”: “The minute I walked in, I saw him sitting, and I thought, ‘That man is for me, he’s the man of my life.’ I kept staring at him until I got to meet him that night. And then I just followed my intuition and everything worked out. Frankly, meeting him that night was like winning the lottery.”
Although Shakira is engaged, she doesn’t plan to marry Antonio anytime soon. She said, “I think it’s more romantic to be that eternal girlfriend. We’re happy the way things are. Our relationship is strong and steady.”

Leighton Meester Performs Alongside Weezer

From covering Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” to sharing the living room stage with Taylor Swift, Weezer’s front man Rivers Cuomo seems to enjoy cozying up to cute pop stars as of late. Cuomo has now moved on to aspiring pop princesses, like Leighton Meester.
During an All Hallow’s Eve show in New York, the Gossip Girl actress performed a supposedly-spontaneous duet for the band’s latest single, “(If You’re Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To.”
While her voice is lost in the video (who wouldn’t be intimidated?), I’m more concerned about her multi-colored leggings, sci-fi-inspired jacket, and Amy Winehouse hair.

Lily Allen Needs a Leash For Her Dog!

Seemingly back on track with her new, tamed brunette hair color, British pop singer Lily Allen can’t seem to do everything right just yet! It seems as if the troubled tabloid target completely forgot to grab her dog leash when she went out the other day.
While I’m glad that Lily has advocated adoption at local shelters, I still don’t see why she would ever forget her poor dog’s leash—look at the dog’s poor face!
Maybe Lily simply forgot that despite her new ‘do, we’re still keeping a close watch on her. As if that awards incident wasn’t a mere month ago…

Avril Lavigne Launches Fragrance
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Music, Television, Style, Rumors
For someone who has lashed out about her fellow pop rivals like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and even Paris Hilton, newlywed Avril Lavigne is hypocritically following right in their footsteps by launching a fragrance line.
The 23 year old “punk”-turned-glam girl has already penned a deal with Proctor & Gamble Prestige Products, she divulges to Women’s Wear Daily: “Creating this fragrance is a fun process and I am looking forward to sharing it with everyone.”
No word yet as to an exact date; however, if you truly plan on purchasing the product, you can expect it in late 2009. As much as I loathe her, I can never deny how large her fan base is. There are, after all, too many confused pre-teens and misguided teenagers who would succumb to actually spending money on this. I wouldn’t be surprised if Hot Topic ended up supplying the perfume, either.
