VIDEO: Old Marilyn Monroe Footage Sparks New Scandal

An unknown home-cameraman has decided to share a fifty-year old video of someone who very much appears to be late actress Marilyn Monroe. In the short film, she takes a few hits off what very much appears to be a joint (you know, marijuana). The video purports to have been shot in 1958 or 59.

Keya Morgan, a New York area collector, has purchased the film (for the bargain price of $275K). He’ll be selling it on eBay this week. The story first broke in the Huffington Post.

Brad Pitt Talks About Former Pot Use

Angelina Jolie may be known for his tattoos, love of daggers and vials of blood, but the actress isn’t the only one in her family with a rebellious past.

During a sit-down on Real Time with Bill Maher, Brad Pitt expanded on comments he made recently to Ann Curry. (You can see that interview after the jump.) Earlier this week, the father of six joked that if he was running for a political position on the “gay marriage, no religion, legalization and taxation of marijuana platform.” Apparently his feelings on the leafy substance stem from years of experience.

Michael Phelps Addresses Marijuana Pipe Photo

UPDATE: Michael has been suspended for 3 months by USA Swimming. He’s also lost his Kellogg sponsorship.

Although he was previously scheduled to celebrate with the Super Bowl attendees in Tampa, Michael Phelps spent this weekend addressing a celebration from last fall. (Note to future Olympic superstars: There’s no such thing as a “private” party with college students.)

Thanks to a picture of him posted online by News of the World, Phelps was forced to apologize to his admirers and sponsors. The photo, supposedly taken in November at a Univ. of South California party, clearly shows Michael inhaling a substance from a marijuana pipe.

Remember when Tom Cruise was a truly A-list star, Hollywood royalty, and possibly the hunkiest hunk around? Now, he’s a type of weed. And yes, I am talking about that kind of weed.

According to gossip, Cruise has a big chip on his shoulder because a medical marijuana facility is marketing a certain type of the drug as “Tom Cruise Purple,” even using his likeness to push the product. If the smoke gets people half as high as Cruise seemed when he jumped on Oprah’s couch, it’s sure to become a hit.

Aaron Carter Arrested

The guy once linked to both Hillary Duff and Lindsay Lohan now has something in common with the latter:  he’s been arrested.

Aaron Carter, Nick’s younger bro, was detained early this afternoon for speeding in Kimble County, Texas.  After the pop singer (I believe he’s a singer - though I couldn’t name anything he’s sung to save my life) was pulled over, deputies discovered marijuana inside his vehicle.  According to TMZ, the 20-year-old had at least 2 ounces in his possession.  Smart.

Carter is currently being held in Junction City while he awaits his first court appearance on Friday.
