DJ AM and Travis Barker

UPDATE: Travis Barker has just been released from the hospital as well.

One week after surviving a deadly plane crash, 35-year-old DJ AM (a.k.a. Adam Goldstein) has been released from the hospital. Goldstein, who was a patient at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta, was originally listed in critical condition at the time of admittance. According to Dr. Fred Mullins, Adam was treated for second and third-degree burns to his arms and a portion of his head.

Adam’s departure was addressed in a statement released today by his rep. “While he is deeply saddened by the events, he is thankful for all of the love and support he has been receiving from fans and friends worldwide. We ask that you continue to respect his privacy as he rests and heals and mourns the loss of his friends.”

Steven Tyler Sought Help for Feet, Not Drugs

Steven TylerDoes anyone actually think we believe this stuff?

First, Kirsten Dunst tried convincing us her rehab stint was solely about depression. (Word has it - Cirque doesn’t even offer treatment for that.) Now Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler would like us to think he’s seeking help for bad feet. Seriously.

While his reps did manage to confirm their client was away recovering, they blame his on-stage - not off-stage - antics for the excursion. Supposedly years of athletic movements have done a bit of damage to the 60-year-old rocker’s soles. After a series of painful surgeries, the musician for some reason then chose to rest in a rehab facility. Via a statement, Steven said, “I really needed a safe environment to recuperate where I could shut off my phone and get back on my feet.”

So is his home not a ‘safe’ place? Is he unable to turn off his ringer anywhere else? Was there not a groupie willing to help him?
