While his soiled hair, uncouth mouth, and lack of manners made it quite clear that British comedian Russell Brand was a stranger to normal, monogamous relationships, it would seem as of late that his girlfriend Katy Perry is changing his view of the world.
“There have been times when I have been in the company of prostitutes and they were the most wonderful women in the world,” Brand said, reflecting on his past behavior.
Apparently, those times are behind him, and he’s ready to embrace the “I Kissed a Girl” popstar, which I honestly didn’t believe, despite their very public affection for each other.
“She’s lovely. I am living in a different way at the moment. Regardless of what happens in my current situation, I am unlikely to be satisfied with the calamitous promiscuity of the preceding five or six years.”

On today’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the country star did her best to get around any questions about the New Moon hunk. When asked about a recent off-camera outing together, Swift cutely replied: “I really like hockey a lot. And it turns out—so does he!”

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Share Hotel Suite

Let the guessing game continue: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are living together.
The New Moon co-stars, who play lovers in the vampire thriller and are rumored to be dating in real life, are reportedly sharing a penthouse hotel suite while they film the third instalment of the film franchise in Vancouver, Canada. The pair are believed to have rented out the entire 34th floor of the Sheraton Wall Centre Hotel at a cost of $850 a suite each night.
A source told Britain’s More magazine, “They have two rooms joined by a door. They use a third suite on the floor to listen to music or watch Blu-ray movies on a large, flat screen, when they stay in after a day’s shooting or on weekends.”
Each lavish suite boasts two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining room and a large living room. The source added, “They’re great. Every room has floor-to-ceiling windows and large, flat screen TVs and chandeliers. The baths double as Jacuzzis. And, best of all, that floor has its own butler and security. Robert and Kristen are transported to and from the set by accessing a private elevator system in the hotel that leads to a gated and guarded garage.”
While the two stars enjoy luxury surroundings in the secure building, the rest of the cast are reportedly staying in rented apartments nearby.
Jennifer Love Hewitt Calls Break-Up Rumors Hurtful

Ghost Whisperer star Jennifer Love Hewitt cannot catch a break! First there were the tabloids heckling her weight, then there were break-up rumors regarding her current boyfriend, actor/comedian Jamie Kennedy.
Never one to let the gossip slip past her unnoticed, Hewitt is speaking out to defend her relationship.
“I’m not going to lie—it’s not annoying, it’s hurtful… It’s really hurtful that people say that because he is like the most awesome person.”
Well said, Hewitt.
The actress continued to laud her boyfriend (and co-star) of 8 months: “I really hate that people would make it seem like he’s not really a good guy, and not treating me well. He treats me very well.”
And Jamie? “I am lucky to be with her. And I love her very much.” Sounds like love is still in the air! Eight months is fairly impressive for celebrity standards, after all.

The Michael Jackson tribute show stage will feature a giant crown.
A host of international stars will pay tribute to the late star, who was known as the King of Pop, by performing on a specially designed stage dominated by a gold crown at the Schonbrunn Palace in Vienna, Austria, on September 26.
Georg Kindel, who is organizer and chief executive of the concert, said, “The stage will be 50 meters wide with a depth of 25 meters. It has really huge dimensions. It will have a giant glass roof which will be dominated by a giant crown. There will also be a large crown on the stage floor. It will have the feel of a baroque theater with boxes on the side and claret curtains. It will also have a large translucent curtain at the back.”

Family Gets Melanie Griffith Through Rehab

Melanie Griffith is having therapy sessions with her family.
Her husband Antonio Banderas—with whom she has 12-year-old daughter Stella, while Melanie has two other children from previous relationships—insists that Melanie will only benefit from her time in rehab if all her loved ones support her.
He told Ellen DeGeneres, “We have been following some type of therapy with other families. There are a number of invisible heroes working in Alcoholics Anonymous all around the world. I just say to families, ‘Don’t get embarrassed, just confront this problem head-on. And don’t hide from that because there is a beautiful gift at the end of this tunnel, and it is the person that you love back, and that is what I am searching for.’”
Melanie, 52, checked into Utah’s Cirque Lodge—where Lindsay Lohan and Kristen Dunst previously received treatment—in August.
It is her third stint in a treatment facility, with Melanie previously being treated for addictions to alcohol, cocaine, and painkillers. Antonio has revealed her latest stay is a preventative measure taken after she became nervous of using prescription medication following a knee injury she sustained in a skiing accident 18 months ago.
