Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds Wed

Just months after becoming engaged, Definitely, Maybe‘s Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson have already wed. (Can anyone say shotgun?)

The rarely photographed couple had been dating since early 2007.

The nuptials, which happened this weekend near Vancouver, B.C., was confirmed today by Reynolds’ rep. A small group of family and friends were reportedly in attendance.

While this the first marriage for both the Definitely, Maybe star and the 23-year-old actress, Ryan was once previously engaged to singer Alanis Morissette. The two broke up shortly before the 31-year-old starting dating Scarlett.

Matthew McConaughey Sports Brown Bag

Texan cutie Matthew McConaughey, who apparently has no shame or fear of tarnishing a masculine image (i.e. his long, shirtless runs on the beach with “best friend” Lance Armstrong), has now pranced about Los Angeles whilst wearing a cute, feminine brown bag!

Then again, he may very well be leading a revolution for men everywhere. They need bags, too… right? He looks as if he’s fairly enjoying his accessory, too. In fact, I’m actually starting to think that it may have been one of Penelope’s bags she may have left by accident! Either way, I can’t remember seeing anyone since Ryan Reynolds or Jack Bauer with a man bag—they’re nearly extinct!

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds Engaged

This is really turning out to be a busy month for Scarlett Johansson.  Not only will she be debuting her first album on May 20th, she’s now sporting a new sparkly ring.

People magazine reports the 23-year-old recently became engaged to Definitely, Maybe‘s Ryan Reynolds, her boyfriend of one year.  Johansson’s rep said the proposal actually happened a while ago, though no specific details were disclosed.

This will be the first marriage for both actors.  In the past, Scarlett has been linked to Josh Hartnett, her co-star in The Black Dahlia, and Chapter 27‘s Jared Leto.  This will not be the first engagement for Reynolds though.  The 31-year-old was previously set to marry singer Alanis Morissette.  In fact, the two officially broke up shortly before he started dating Johansson.

No wedding date for the happy couple has yet been announced.
