Demi Lovato feels "very lucky" to have Selena Gomez as a best friend. The "Skyscraper" hitmaker considers the singer to be one of her closest friends but rarely gets to see her because they both work so much.
"I'm very lucky to have someone like her in my life. Selena and I have been friends for a long time, but because of our schedules we don't get to see each other very often. Sometimes, we call each other and arrange to meet so we can catch up," she said.
However, the pair have not always been so close - Selena previously said she did not believe in giving "third of fourth chances" to people when discussing her friendship with Demi, although did profess she loved her no matter what: "I believe in second chances, but I don't believe in third or fourth chances. I love talking through things, and I always want to make things work, if I really love someone, but eventually, if they can't fix whatever is wrong, or if they've done something and then they continue to do it, they're probably not going to change for anybody. You can't change a person."

The actress and her boyfriend were watching the Los Angeles Lakers play basketball on last Monday night when they appeared on the court's Kiss Cam - which zooms in on couples to make them lock lips - and although they complied, Selena was enormously embarrassed. "It's the most humiliating thing that's ever happened to me, probably. They were showing these little elderly couples, and it was so cute. Then all of a sudden we're both looking up and we come on the screen and it's like... It was so awkward. It was so weird. I mean you have to kiss, right?" she told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show.

Justin Bieber is "figuring out" love.
The 18-year-old singer - who is in a relationship with Selena Gomez - admits his ideas of dating and romance have changed now he is getting older.
"When you're 13, that's when you're first trying to figure out what it means -- that's kind of a puppy love. Now, being 18 and trying to figure out what it actually really means is a totally different story," he said.
Justin released his new single "Boyfriend" yesterday and admits he is hoping the track will give him a whole new set of fans: "I was younger and my voice was higher [on my old songs]. My music was geared to a younger audience. Now I'm broadening my audience. We wanted to show people that I can evolve."
Although Justin's new musical direction has been the subject of much speculation, he insists he doesn't pay attention to other people's opinions because he knows he has to take charge of his own career. "There's so many people that are going to give me opinions, but I'm the only one who can ultimately make those decisions, because I'm going to have to live with my career for the rest of my life. So I thought this was the perfect single. It was me all the way; it is a representation of me."

Justin Bieber refuses to hide his relationship with Selena Gomez.
The couple - who first started dating in 2010 - are often photographed holding hands or enjoying quality time together, and the 18-year-old "Baby" singer believes it would be "unhealthy" to have it any other way.
"There's no way to hide the relationship completely, because then it would be unfair to us. It's like, 'You take this car, and I'll take this car, and then we'll meet up at the spot. Then, you go in this door, I'll go in this door. We'll end up crossing ways. You get back in this car. We'll cross over, do a James Bond. You go through the kitchen. I'll go through the back area. Then we'll meet in the dressing room and see each other.' At that point, it's not even a relationship. You're just hiding from everyone. That's unfair and unhealthy," he said.
His manager Scooter Braun also told Complex magazine that despite the money, cars and adventures, Justin isn't entirely comfortable with fame: "[He] doesn't like being famous. He struggles with not being normal. I'm constantly telling him, 'You're not normal, and since you're having an extraordinary life, I'm holding to you extraordinary standards.'"

Selena Gomez says Justin Bieber has stopped her from "playing games."
The 19-year-old star - who has been dating the "Baby" hitmaker since December 2010 - admitted while she used to toy with people's emotions in the past, she has come to realize that such behavior is "silly."
"I've played games in the past, but now I've finally met someone who makes me not play games. If you're playing games, you need to ask yourself if that person is really for you. Games are silly."
The Wizards of Waverley Place actress now thinks the best relationships are based on "compassion and honesty," and believes being yourself is the key to success: "I've conformed to a lot of guys that I liked before; it's very easy to want to be what they want you to be. But in the end, it just wasn't enjoyable - I was miserable half the time. The best person you can be with is someone you can be yourself with."
Despite their fame, Selena recently insisted she and Justin have a very normal relationship: "I'm just like every 19-year-old girl. If you're in love, you're in love to the fullest, and you just want to go to the movies, hang out, and be as normal as possible. 'I'm fortunate that I've found someone who has that philosophy."

Justin Bieber is "still learning about girls."
The 17-year-old singer - who has been dating actress Selena Gomez since early this year - admitted he doesn't know whether he will ever "really figure out" women, but he is happy to have found love so early in life.
"I'm still learning about girls. Everyday is different. You have to go through different things. I don't know if you ever really figure it out but it's great! Life's all about that - finding the girl you love," he said in an interview.
The "Baby" hitmaker recently explained he is attracted to Selena, 19, because she is "hot" but he also insisted they share a connection because of their similar family backgrounds. Justin said, "Everybody can see she is hot and that's great, but there is so much more to her than that. She makes me laugh and she puts up with my practical jokes. She has really strong family values as well. We were both raised by our moms in single-parent households, and that's given us a lot of the same family values in life."

Selena Gomez's dog almost died after eating rocks.
The singer-and-actress was devastated when three-month-old puppy Baylor got violently ill last Friday after ingesting a large amount of small boulders. So Selena - who adopted the pup last month with boyfriend Justin Bieber - took him to the vet, where he underwent surgery.
"My baby is sick :( praying for his surgery. (sic)" she wrote on Twitter.
The adoption agency the couple got Baylor from will now visit Selena once a month to make sure she is caring for the pooch properly. Justin and Selena - who has five rescue dogs - adopted Baylor after visiting the Winnipeg animal rescue centre D'Arcy's ARC, where they fell in love with him.

Justin Bieber’s Parisian Penthouse

Justin Bieber treated Selena Gomez to a $1,100 a night penthouse suite while they stayed in Paris. The "Baby" star was in the French capital this week to promote his new Christmas album ,and he and Selena stayed in the Paris Arc de Triomphe hotel for the four nights they were there.
"Justin and Selena stayed in the most beautiful penthouse suite overlooking the Eiffel Tower. This was the perfect suite for them because it is so romantic," one insider said.
Another source at the hotel said both very charming guests and always well mannered while at the hotel: "They never left the room when they returned to it and didn't bother with room service, but the times they were seen together they were always extremely polite and very cordial to the staff."
As well as taking her shopping at Louis Vuitton, 17-year-old Justin also treated Selena to a romantic meal at the exclusive L'Avenue restaurant, where customers said they held hands throughout their meal, kissed, and were seemingly unconcerned about other diners watching them. Justin's promotional tour now takes him to Germany.
Selena Gomez Rushed to Hospital

Selena Gomez was rushed to hospital Thursday night. The singer-and-actress - who has been dating Justin Bieber since the beginning of this year - reportedly felt ill while taping an interview with chat show host Jay Leno and was taken to a Los Angeles hospital immediately afterwards.
Sources told gossip website TMZ, Selena, 18 was complaining of nausea and a severe headache and is currently undergoing tests. The exact cause of her illness is not yet known.
Meanwhile, Selena revealed during her chart with Jay on The Tonight Show that her parents, Mandy and Rocardo - who divorced when she was five - are huge fans of her boyfriend: "He passed the test."
Justin's family also approve of Selena after he took her on a recent trip to his hometown of Stratford, Ontario in Canada to meet his family. "Justin and Selena had lunch with Justin's cousins and his aunt and uncle. They were really sweet and make an adorable couple. They looked happy and in love. They acted just like everyday people, very down-to-earth. Justin is part of the community, he's one of us and is as friendly as can be," said a source.
