Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag

UPDATE: As we had expected, MTV is currently down in Mexico getting footage for the upcoming season of The Hills.

Apparently we are in an era of change.

Although many predicted and Spencer Pratt would be together forever, the couple did actually did something many did not foresee last week. The love-to-be-hated pair eloped in a private ceremony in Mexico…and there wasn’t a film crew in sight. (Or so we think.)

According to Perez Hilton, the 15-minute service was held just outside Cabo San Lucas at the One & Only Palmilla Resort. “The minute we said our vows, I couldn’t stop crying,” the 22-year-old new bride said of the event. (Was it because she instantly regretted tying the knot?)

Celebrities Threatening to Defect

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Television, Rivalries, Editorials

Seal, Heidi Klum

Not that long ago, comedienne Tina Fey (who is now for ever linked to her classic and spot-on impersonation) said she would leave Earth if the McCain administration takes over. She’s not the only celeb who’s threatened to turn their back on the U.S. if the war hero and hockey mom make it into the White House - though her words were perhaps a little stronger than most.

Susan Sarandon, Michael Stipe (REM) and Stephen Baldwin have all made similar statements. Now, recording artist Seal and model Heidi Klum are clamoring that they, too, can’t imagine living in an America where John McCain might rule.

Watch Heidi Montag’s Latest Attempt at a Music Video

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Music, Television, Videos

Today, Heidi Montag used her personal website to share her latest project with us.

For her second music video, the reality star tries her best to impersonate an 80’s aerobics instructor. Unfortunately, she lacks the vocal coordination to be Olivia Newton-John and the physical coordination to be Jane Fonda.

The best part? The debut of “Overdosin’” experienced it’s share of technical glitches. The clip below loses sound at around at the 3:50 mark…but that, thankfully, spares us from having to listen to the full 10-minute clip.

And I thought her beach video looked cheap.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt Plan Trip to Iraq

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Television

Spencer Pratt and Heidi MontagBelieving they could someday be the next power couple, Brangelina wannabes and Spencer Pratt have just announced the next step for Team Speidi: They’re going to Iraq.

Wanting to honor the recent death of her stepbrother, Heidi has expressed interest in going overseas to support America’s troops. Eric O’Hara, who passed away after a March accident in Colorado, had served both in Iraq and Afghanistan as an airborne ranger.

Recently, Heidi Montag has been seen spending time with John McCain’s daughter, Meghan. (Heidi has openly pledged her support to the Republican candidate.) It’s believed this relationship will somehow get the two MTV stars an inside track on a Middle East tour. Spencer told Extra, “I think Meghan McCain is helping organize Heidi and our Iraq trip. Her dad definitely has some pull with the military. I think she’s going to put that together for us.” (Yes - I’m sure she has nothing better to do.)

As for what Heidi and Spencer will exactly do overseas is not exactly known. According to People, Montag apparently wants to “perform” something. Well, I guess she could writhe around on the sand while Spencer holds a boom box again. There’s probably an audience somewhere for that.

Spencer Pratt vs. Mary-Kate Olsen

SpencerMary-Kate Olsen

After being made a fool of on David Letterman (twice!), has decided to lash out at former classmate Mary-Kate Olsen.

Earlier this month, The Hills star made a guest appearance on the late night program and was put on the hot seat by the talk show host. (You can see that video here.) When Pratt claimed that he receives fees of $100,000 to appear at clubs, Letterman simply couldn’t hold back the laughter.

Fast forward to past Thursday when was on the same show promoting her new movie, The Wackness. David asked if Olsen had gone to school with any of the young stars in the news today—and that’s when the subject of Spencer Pratt came up. (You can see this clip after the jump.)

Heidi Montag’s Video Made Us - and Her - Cry

Heidi MontagLast week, we gave you the chance to check out ‘s new music video for her new single, Higher.  (You can view it again here.)

After the clip splashed across the internet, negative reviews about the cheap production, weak song and talentless performer came fast and furious.  Unfortunately, it was more than star was prepared to take.

In an interview with Us Magazine, Montag admitted to feeling crushed by the comments:

“I cried myself to sleep that first night after my video came out.  I just couldn’t understand why people I didn’t even know felt the need to be so cruel and hurtful toward me.”

Uhh, well you assaulted our eyes.  How about telling us why the piece of film looked like crap?

“We were at the beach and, literally, Spencer had his camera and a boom box in the trunk.  We did it in one take, maybe two, and it took us 20 minutes to film and cost us zero dollars.”

Boom box, nice.  Well that pathetic excuse only explains the visual quality, Heidi.  It doesn’t explain why you have absolutely no rhythm and lack the ability to lip synch.  Get back to us when you have an answer for that.

Watch Heidi Montag’s New Video

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Music, Television, Videos

On a recent episode of , told the late night host she’s been praying for her former friend, , on a daily basis.  Well after getting a whiff of her new video, I’m thinking star should really keep the good thoughts focused on herself.

Although her new single, Higher, doesn’t hit iTunes until Tuesday, I’d advise you to preview the song here first.  Just think of it as a dollar well saved.

From the whiny voice to the painfully-exaggerated facial expressions and awkward body movements—this clip has written all over it.  (If the video - shot by boyfriend - had been a full-length movie, it too would have gone straight-to-DVD.)

And what was up with those freaky jazz hands?
