Snoop Dogg: From Rapper to Vampire?

Snoop Dogg wants to be a vampire. The “Gangsta Luv” rapper is a huge fan of True Blood and is keen to land a role on the hit US TV horror series.

“I love that show. I wish I could be on it. I’d be a hell of a vampire, don’t you think?” he said. “So what’s happenin’? True Blood, get at me - Snoop Dogg wants to be a vampire.”

The occasional actor is so eager to appear on the HBO program, he has even paid tribute to it on his new song “Gangsta Luv” - the first single from his upcoming album Malice N Wonderland. In it, he raps: “Everyday is the same thang, I creep in/ It’s like True Blood, I sink my teeth in/ I gotta have it.”

Snoop isn’t the only star to recently confess an interest in undead blood-sucking creatures. Talking about her favorite type of movie, Katie Holmes said: “It can be any genre. I even like vampire movies - they just have to be well done. I want to believe in the characters. The minute it starts to feel not real, I’m not interested.”

Co-Star Had No Idea About Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin

So maybe True Blood‘s Ryan Kwanten not having a clue about co-stars Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin’s relationship wasn’t necessarily his fault. Turns out their other co-star, Sam Trammell, had not a clue, either!

In a post-Emmy party, Trammell, who plays the shapeshifter Sam Merlotte on the hit vampire show, revealed that he didn’t see it coming: “I think they’re both just really independent, really talented people, and they just kind of fit together… They’re so professional, I had no idea they were together at first. And then I had no idea he’d proposed to her.”

Don’t count on fiction meshing with reality here—Sam, whose character is in love with Anna’s Sookie despite her relationship with vampire Bill (Moyer), has nothing but good wishes for the newly-engaged: “They’ve been together a long time, and it’s working out. I’m happy for them.”

Stephen Moyer Spills Wedding Details

While we may have let one celebrity wedding slip right past us, all eyes are honed in on fictional and real life True Blood couple Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin.

The couple were attending the L.A. Dogworks and Good Dog Animal Rescue fund raiser this past Wednesday, where Moyer divulged an adorable wedding tidbit: “Splash, my [10 year-old border collie] alpha, will be the ringbearer. My son [Billy] might be unhappy about that.”

Unfortunately we won’t be seeing his “grumpy little sod” (his words, not ours) walk down with the rings just yet—Moyer and Anna have yet to pick a date!

“We haven’t planned anything. People say, ‘You are engaged to be married,’ and I’m like, ‘Really? I thought we were just engaged.’”

Oh, you silly silly vampire!

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer Announce Engagement

Much like their characters on HBO’s hit vampire drama, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are moving quickly with their relationship. The couple made their relationship official in February and have now announced their engagement less than half a year later—too soon or true love?

One thing’s for sure—the True Blood co-stars don’t have to work too hard when it comes to all of the torrid love scenes on the show: “Obviously, if you’re already with that person then you’re not having to sort of get over the ‘Wow, I’m naked with someone that I don’t even know the middle name of!’” Paquin said.

While it is indisputable that the couple are absolutely adorable together, I’m still wishing this happened with Sarah Michelle Gellar and David Boreanaz!
